"What do you think you will be?" A young baby faced boy asked. "I, personally think ill be a hero. Im just too kind not to be one."
"Haha, hero? Ill probably be the Protagonist." Another gobli- baby faced boy said.
The room was filled with mutters by children who were guessing what class they will be.
In the midst of all this, there was a boy. Sitting beside his mother quietly.
No, he was not just anti social.
His mother was just keeping him quiet, trying to get a higher bet of her child becoming the protagonist. She who spent twelve years of her life trying to train her son to be a kind hearted fellow. How foolish could she be.
Trying to make her child mute or what? Thats an attribute of an extra!?
The stadium was bustling, yet it wasnt a suprise. Today was the day.
The stadium which gathered all the twelve year olds.
Obviously the stadium was way more full today than it is other years.
The protagonist dies twelve years ago, so today was the day when they would choose a new protagonist!
Because of this, the stadium was bustling with kids. Most of the parents of these kids only wanted to have kids for the sole purpose of today. For the chance of their offspring to be the protagonist.
They are unaware that at the end of the day. Even if their child becomes the protagonist they will not be able to enjoy the perks, they will all be killed off for the sake of charcter development.
The event of the decade has begun.
The boy still sitting beside his mother. His mother had been trying to create a perfect child and in result had ruined the childs chances of living a normal life and socializing with his peers.

"After a long process of consideration the protagonist is..." The speaker announces.
The protagonist is always annonced first to shatter the hopes of parents.

A boy appears before the crowd. Alaric Zehyr.
But wait.. is this some kind of mistake?
A nose picking young boy whose black tshirt is covered in snot?
"There seems to be a mixup... No? Oh.."The announcer says seemingly confused."Let's welcome the 5th Protagonist, Alaric Zephyr!!"
The snot nosed boy walks towards the microphone. He picks his nose once again and proceeds to swallow the big bugger he found.
He gets to the microphone slouching. The boy takes a deep breath before muttering the following words.
"B-b-boobs."
The stadium is in uproar. Everyone wondering if this is some kind of joke. Just who did they choose to be in charge of keeping the world at peace.
During the 248 years this has gone on, the protagonist chosen has always been a well mannered and mature person for their age. Not some nose picking boy going through immense puberty.
After continuous mumbles. The event continuous. Some parents have already left with their children but who cares about them?
"We will now be announcing the antagonist."
The antagonist the person who will oppose the protagonist. The person who will bring destruction upon the world.
"The antagonist is... undecided..."
What there is no antagonist? This is the first time this has happened.
The stadium is once again in uproar.

The announcer also seems to be at a lost for words.
"Well...., shall we continue."
"Peter maib... Hero."
"Ajos Josh... Minor villain."
"Neghi yerte... Major extra."
"Javier malic...Major hero."
"Dokja Jim... Extra."
"Malic Zain...."

The stadium is in rampage. Kids crying as a result of their low class while some jubilating.
The announcer keeps going on. Oh wait isn't that the boy from earlier?
"Outis Nine... Minor extra."
Haha the efforts of the mother gone to waste! Its truly touching when events like this happen.
Seeing people hard work going to waste.
But wait. Why isn't he crying? Through all my years of watching this event he is the first child to not cry after being classified as an extra! That boy, I'll keep an eye on him.

The event is now over. It's quite fun seeing how the kids interact with each other once again. This event has always been the cause of many lost friendships.
The hero's and villains already disassociating with each other.
That baby faced boy at the start he ended up being a villain while his friend became an extra. How funny. Well I wasn't surprised, how could someone so egoistical even dream of becoming a hero.
As for the protagonist, hes dealing with the press. Turns out he was an orphan so now alot of families are trying to adopt him. His story doesn't seem like it would be that boring after all..
