I was at cloud nine actually no.... at eleven or twelve if there was any and it's because i had found my mate last week on my 21 birthday . Yes ! mate you heard it right in werewolf world we all had a soul mate, a missing part of you or in other words another piece of your soul but in different body ,only made for you by moon goddess. In my case moon goddess had blessed me with the most handsome, charming, intelligent alpha mate who was none other than my best friend, my childhood crush Alpha Richard Parker .

He was my mate in real sense like we were inseparable since childhood always with each other like two sides of a coin. I was very excited for his 21 birthday when it turned into a disappointment when we looked at each other fondly but we felt nothing no sparks ,no intoxicating smell, no mate bond.... No - Nothing not a damn single thing .

However ,i always wanted best for my friend whether i being his mate or not. Last year when i was so depressed over who would going to be his mate because now he would no longer be my best friend who used to spend all his time with me, now there would be other person whom he would love like no other.

I had locked myself in my room because i didn't want any body to see me all sad and gloomy especially my siblings..... yes! Jack and Maira were crazy like that . They would probably satirize about this so yeah i had left with no other choice.

I swiftly wiped my tears and moved my ass when i heard a knock at my bedroom door. I hesitatingly opened my door and as expected there she was no other than my mother the great Elizabeth Xavier White i didn't know how but she always knew when i was low and she was always there to help, guide and protect me like a lovely mother she was . She knew that why i was mopping around so she hugged me and consoled me that there was no need to worry because whether i was or was not rick's mate but i would always be his bosom friend but wait .... " Did i want to be his just a best friend?"...." NO" - i wanted to be his best mate .

I asked my mother why moon goddess hadn't given me him as mate on which she answered that moon goddess knew what's best for me and would give me the best of best but this time i denied to believe in moon goddess i felt duped . I clinched to my mom's shoulder and sobbed while she was moving her hand up and down on my back in an assuring motion whispering sweet words in my ears.

She tucked my hair behind my ear then gently cupped my face with her other hand and wipe my tears with other and told me may be i was rick's mate but we could not find, reason being i was also an alpha and an alpha generally found their mate late on which i refused immediately because we all knew my elder brother Jack was next in line of pack's alpha after dad.

My mom comforted me by saying i being Jack's twin was a possibility that both of us were alpha which i knew could not possible because i didn't possess any trait of an alpha and top of that in my whole life jack had tortured me saying ' little sister' what if i was only five minute younger than him.

I knew mom wanted to calm me down that's why she was saying all this stuff, but i knew better.... i thought. I took a deep breath lightly tapped her back and kissed her right cheek and thanked her and reassured her that i was fine.

A wide smile lingered on my lips as i remembered all the time i had been through it felt like .....yesterday.

I pulled the grass out and started playing with its roots actually i was waiting for rick i wanted to give him a present because he was going to leave red wood for a year for his alpha training in the evening as now he had found out his luna that means he was ready to play his role as an alpha. Although i was gloomy at the though of him leaving me yet super excited for the future because as soon as he would come back we are going to have our mating ceremony and became the luna officially.

I inhaled deeply and hit with the intoxicating smell of ocean and mist i moved my gaze to the left and there it was the most charming and bright smile which made me giddy.

I jumped on my feet ''Hey!" i waved my hand and took some seconds to admire the beauty of the deep ocean blue eyes that lured me so much , had i told you how much i loved the blue colour eyes sometimes i envied him because mine were vibrant green unlike his ocean blue, like the real ocean... so dark.

I sighed happily and admired his long nose high cheek bones and thin light pink enticing lips, i moved my gaze little lower towards his long neck embellished with beautiful silver chain dangling on the broad chest, white T clinched to his body like a second sink showing his abs just right followed by blue denims ,white snickers pair with the black leather jacket which was breathtakingly complementing his tall , lean and muscular physique.

"He is definitely handsome and most definitely mine! "a voice in my head smugged.

I came to my senses... all red like a tomato after shamelessly ogling him and started running toward my mate, i jumped and threw myself on him and embraced him .

He hugged me so tightly that i could barely breath and next second i was pulled into the most passionate, deep and a long kiss.

'' Hey beautiful '' he said in between the kiss and kissed me again this time slowly with no urgency and i reciprocated the feelings with same passion "you are looking so beautiful in this yellow jumpsuit" he murmured in the low husky voice " but red is your colour you look like a goddess in that"and kissed me again.

"I know already tell me something new" i said breaking the kiss while tossing my hair and winked at him.

"I know i know..... my love " he patted my butt and flashed me his most famous smile. I jumped on the ground and grabbed his left hand and started dragging him with me towards the bench.

"Close your eyes "i told him and took his hand and placed them on this face i pulled blue box from my bag "Uh -uh ... no boy you can't see" i chided him "Okay ..y" he said with stretching the... y and closed his fingers completely hiding his face .

I slowly took off his silver chain and placed a beautiful chain carrying a beautiful scintillating blue stone carved soul mate on it around his neck ."yes it looks breathtaking on him complimenting his dark ocean blue eyes'' i appreciated myself in mind.

"Done! you are good to have a look now open your eyes!" clapping my hands i shouted excitedly. He opened his eyes slowly and craned his neck to see his gift he gently rolled the stone between his thumb and forefinger he hummed in appreciation.

while i was also admiring the beauty of the stone when out of no where it illuminated all bright and glittery like a magic enchanted stone .

"It- It is magnificent" rick said in the heavy voice and i looked a little bemused that what the hell was happening .
