Chapter 2 - Simple game

With a cold sweat. The barely lit environment sulked. Why was he here? Or where was he? A girl stood at the other side, with her white hair, the same color as mine. The splashing water drops landed on her head. Approaching her presence, I proceed with caution. Lowering the noises of my crawls. I gulped looking at her.

"What if she's here to monitor me?" After that fateful day. My body crumbled and my trust wavered. The reek of the blood that splashed onto me, marked an unforgiven and a teary smell on my nose.

Way before that opening I was too kind. Watched the birds sore through the skies. Played with the animals looking lonely in the wild. Fed the hungry, and made a smile.

Shaking her out of her slumber. She looked at the area with a dreary glare "Who are you?" She looked at me losing her attention. Sweat ran down her face. She looked at my snow-white hair and ran through it. "Are you, one of mine?" It was an encrypted question, I nodded hiding my sigh.

From the circumstance. We were both stuck here. The same situation for both of us, as there were no cameras present. I guess we were training to be a dog on a leash, only 10 years of water and food were left. Their purpose was to make us become ignorant and follow their demands. They would act like our saviors. Even though they put us into this.

The rock surrounding the entrance gave a lost sense of escape. But that was probably a trick, it would never be that easy. I have no idea where the real one is. But I was sure It was not that way, it was a simple trick I'd read in the books.

After 4 years or so when you clear out the rocks, you will probably just get a bigger version of the room we're in. The same damp ceiling, and the stiff dirt laying on the floor.

The best way to start would be to find the real exit. I will make other plans from there on. But information is more important, as I could feel gaps in my head. My name, My family, I can't remember most of it. This was probably intended so we get desperate for names later on. Such a cruel method. He laid his hand on the damp ceiling, the water, moisturizing his hand, there could be only one reason, they were in a lake or ocean.

A lake would be an idle option. But an ocean is best not to talk about, plus it would be harder for them to find us. So I doubt the cave is that deep.

Looking at my new companion "Hey. Do you remember your name or your family's name? Or anything else at all? Maybe a pet's name or abilities?" The dreary gaze on her face rolled off as she realized what I was aiming for. She was not useless after all, what a smart girl to catch on so quickly.

"No." Her eyes rolled to the rocks, there was still the chance of hidden cameras or microphones after all. I made a slight nod, indicating she was right.

If this was supposed to trap us for 10 years, I'm sorry to say you got the wrong person.
