Nu Yanyan paused,she wants to trust him,he had been with her for almost a month now and he was always by her side even when he was as jealous as fuck.
"Explain"She said with a slight cockiness in her voice. Lu Jingze breath in "Her name is Lin Jiujiu,my cousin. She didn't kiss me and we are not dating. I only did all that so that you'll finally admit your feelings towards me"Nu Yanyan stoic face cracked a bit,she turned to look at him.
He said all that with a straight face, doesn't he feel ashamed?
"Are you still mad?"Lu Jingze asked putting his hands back on her waist incase she tries to leave. Nu Yanyan didn't speak not because she was angry,she was already appeased after the explanation but the misunderstanding she created within herself stopped her from speaking.
She had thought that Lu Jingze jealousy was worst than hers but definitely that speculation was wrong. Thinking about it now made her realize that she was really dumb.
She could have just asked who the lady is and Lu Jingze would have probably told her the truth.
How did she know that? mostly because Lu Jingze never said anything about him and the girl dating nor had he said that she (Nu Yanyan) wasn't his girlfriend.
She had really overreacted this time,the first time was when she ran out of the restaurant without asking Lu Jingze why he was smiling at that waitress.
Partially she wasn't at fault. There's no lady that would ask questions after imagining a scene that wasn't true to what was happening.
A big patch of red found its way to her cheeks,she could even feel the radiation of the blush.
The restroom door was suddenly open and Lin Jiujiu rushed towards the couple. She deeply bowed before Nu Yanyan"Am sorry, sister-in-law. I didn't mean for that great misunderstanding, it's just that my acting is too good. And i swear i didn't kiss him otherwise i would have been blacklisted right after you stood up"Lin Jiujiu said so much but Nu Yanyan could still understand that she didn't mean for all this to happen.
Nu Yanyan face became flushed,she was really embarrassed. She looked down, she wanted to run away but Lu Jingze had held her waist tight.
It was like he knew what she was thinking.
Lin Jiujiu thought that Nu Yanyan was still mad,she looked at Lu Jingze for help but he sent her a freezing glare that seems to be telling her to find a way to appease Nu Yanyan.
Not knowing what else to do,she immediately blurted out"I can give you a VIP ticket to my latest movie. If you want,I can buy the theater for you so you won't be disturbed"As Lin Jiujiu said that,she brought out her phone and called someone"buy the theater that would play my latest mov..."Nu Yanyan eyes widened.
She grabbed the phone,she was really worried for Lu Jingze family.
They spend money like it's nothing,Lin Jiujiu looked at Nu Yanyan with expectancy"Sister-in-law,do you forgive me?"Nu Yanyan disconnected the call.
She heaved a deep sigh,her face became pathetic"it's not your fault but your cousin's"she turned to Lu Jingze and poked him on the chest,his face was indifferent like her finger was like a mushy noddle.
"If you dare try it again, I'll break up with you"She threatened with a sharp voice.
Lu Jingze smiled"Does that mean am forgiven?"he asked. Nu Yanyan crossed her arms over each other"I'll think about it"She said making his face fall again.
Lin Jiujiu felt a glare straight at her,she looked up and saw her cousin. She felt helpless,what could she do?, her Sister-in-law already said she wasn't angry at her anymore so if her sister-in-law is angry at him, how is that her problem?
But his glare was piercing,she turned around and walked away leaving him to deal with his angry wife on his own.
While walking out,she saw two cars parked outside.
