Chapter two
Charlotte was right my mom gave all the attention to Nikita , sometimes she'll behave like I wasn't existing at all , Nikita was given a room in the house , mom would always wanted me to serve food ,water or drinks to Nikita in her room , while she's there doing nothing . So that particular day I decided to see Nikita at her room .
"May I come in "I said standing in her room door post demanding to come in .
"Sure , Nicky "Nikita said
"Hope I'm not disturbing you , cause I can see you are busy and I'm interupting you " I said walking in and sitting close to her on her bed .
"Yeah I'm being disturbed by you " Nikita replied.
"Then I'm sorry, for disturbing , you any way I came to have a private time with you as a sister , twin sister since after you were gone missing I was alone I missed you when you always call me dollop head and I call you a clotpole " I said and giggle a little , nikita smiled and chuckled softly.
"Yeah I know I remember I've also missed you Nicky , mom favourite cookies she always baked I miss them alot " Nikita said
"Mom stopped making cookies after you went Missing , she only makes them once in a while anyway we're where you taking to the time you went Missing , and why did they take you , who were the people that took you away " I asked
"Haha why all these questions Nicky aren't you happy I'm back , you see were I was taken to , who captured me and why they captured me none of those things matter so the main thing that matters is that I'm back"nikita said
"I understand it's a painful memory but you can share it with me " I said
"No get out , get out of my room now " Nikita said
"Are you serious , Nikita I'm your sister please tell me share all with me I promise never to tell anyone " I said mom entered the room
"Mom tell Nicky to leave my room immediately I'm fed up with her " Nikita said
"Nicky get out of Nikita room and don't come back , get out " mom shouted at me
I stood up and left in pains , that was the first time mom had shouted at me I left .
"Are you okay sweetheart " mom asked Nikita
"Yes mom , I shall continue my search and mom could you please make me some cookies" Nikita asked
"Awwwwn sweetie I didn't know you missed my cookies, you know after you went Missing I stop baking cookies " mom said
"I understand , please make some " Nikita asked
"Sure I will honey " mom said and left Nikita's room .
I went to my room , sobbing softly I picked up my phone and dailed Charlotte number .
"Hey whatsup babe " Charlotte said
"Charl please can you come over to my house along with Mae "I said
"What happened you sound cold Nicky what happened " Charlotte said
"Charlotte please come over I'll tell you everything " I said and cut the call I started crying immediately .
it was not less than 40minutes Mae and Charlotte arrived to my house , I invited them over to my room and locked the door .
"Nicky that's odd why do you do that" Mae asked .
"Mae , it's my mom because of Nikita my mom shouted at me for the first time it's so painful " I said crying
" I'm sorry Nicky , it's so hard to believe that your mom did that " Charlotte said
"My mom behaves like I don't exist in this house " I said crying
"So what do you think " Mae asked
" I think that that's not Nikita , my Nikita hates when my mom shouts at me , my Nikita would complain to my mom , and when I tried asking Nikita some questions about what happened when she was kidnapped she wouldn't answer but I haven't seen anyone who would do such thing " I said cleaning my tears
"I don't understand Nicky , don't you think maybe the memory may be bad that she's scared of saying it that she may have night mares about it " Charlotte said
"And Nicky time has changed , Nikita is now a grown up girl , she don't have to complain about at you being scolded by your mom " Mae said
"You should be happy your sister is back " Charlotte said
"You all doubt me but with time I'll show you the truth " I said then my door knocked
"Come in please " I said Nikita walked in smiling .
"What is it that you want " I asked Nikita
"I just came to say I'm sorry that mom shouted at you because of me please forgive me " Nikita said Charlotte and Mae were just extremely glad and excited about Nikita .
"Don't worry Nikita she has forgiven you , she told us and we've pleaded with her " Charlotte said
"Yes she's right we've pleaded with her and she said yes she's just being nervous to answer you " Mae said
"Oh thanks girls , and you are ...." Nikita asked .
"Oh I'm Charlotte and this is my friend Mae we are the two best friends of Nicky " Charlotte said
"Okay , thanks I'll like to see you later Nicky when you are done " Nikita said and left
"Oh God Nikita is so cute look at her red hair and her beautiful face she's lavishing " Charlotte said"
"Yeah , I'll make sure to know whatever she wants" I said and left with my two best friends .
