Chapter 1 - It's a thing of Joy!

The day looked like every other day with Mum carrying out her daily routine. Nothing strange was being expected as Savie (that's the popular name my Dad is known for) was on his normal routine of warm massage.

Boom! there was this sharp cry "Oh no!, my legs!! My waist!!!" Everything happened so fast that it can hardly be accounted for and there was the cry of a baby! The long awaited baby boy has arrived. The brother to Nancy and the bonafide son of Mr. and Mrs. Lifesaver. It was a thing of joy.

That was how I was born into the family of Lifesaver, born into affluence, expected life to be fair to me yet, there was this sickening gigantic situation that stood tall against this expectation.

I began my life as an over-pampered child who had everything at his disposal in an affluent home. Dad will always say "My CEO has arrived! Ramsey you must make sure wealth multiplies in this home just like the multiplication table because you took after me hence, you must perform more than I did" this statement was like a daily bread. Every-day I was reminded of the fact that I had to be a better CEO. That was how I was groomed from childhood to be a family asset. The day I personally looked forward to as though my entire life depended on it.

Oh! I forgot about Nancy. Nancy guarded and guided me with everything in her as though her life depended on my survival. I was nurtured and nursed into the man I am by Nancy. She did more than a Mum would have done. One would literally think that Nancy was my Mum as her presence and duty gave Mum a kind of relief.

That was my family, the Lifesavers where everyone looked forward to me as the future bread winner of the family.
