Thursday morning, Hogworths high...🏯
"You're the best Bella", Mia squealed in sheer excitement as she hugged me. "I thought i was done for...by the way, how did you get the book back?" She asked, releasing me from the bear hug.
"Trust me, you don't wanna know", i replied, touching the nape of my neck as i smiled nervously.
Memories of last night flooded my head.....
"What's going on here?" Mrs Emerson asked, staring at the demon king and I, questionably.
I was too shocked to speak up, and then i looked at his face, he didn't even show any sign of being shocked. He just leaned on his pillow, folding his arms and wearing his nasty smirk.
"Failed seduction".
'Curse you!' I bit my lip angrily when he spoke.
"Miss Becca told me about what happened in school". His mother said, then folded her arms..."I doubted her but then, this proves that she was right and i was wrong".
She must be talking about our meeting with Miss Becca where she had thought we committed a 'sin' according to her.
Hell! The demon king was relaxed, enjoying the show...
My acting skill kicked in....
"Ma'am...." I sobbed... "I just came to collect my note he borrowed and then, he...he..." I paused, sniffing in..."he started touching me".
With that said, the demon king whipped his head to look at me...
"He tried to make me lay with him... And i was hitting him to let go..." I let fake tears stream down my face.
"The hell?" He uttered.
"Aiden? What did you do to her?" Mrs Emerson asked, diverting her eyes from me to her son.... "How could you? I'm so disappointed".
He scoffed, then turned to look at me again...
"You're dead". He muttered under his breath....I stared back at him with puppy eyes and a pout....
"C'mon sweetie, let's go". Mrs Emerson told me and i slipped my hand under the pillow to get the note, before getting off the bed to meet her...
"You think she's like other girls who fall for your stupid charms? She's immune to your charms young man, don't touch her again". She warned her son and held my hand, leaving the room...
I turned and stuck out my tongue, mocking him. He stared hard at me, balling his hand to a fist.
Now:
I chuckled, at the memory and Mia stared at me, confused.
"Um....but i wanna know, it must've been fun, as you seem happy". She said.
"Fun?" I asked, then bursted out laughing..."well, I can't really say it was fun and it wasn't fun so...."
"BELLA FLYNN!" A thunderous voice called out my name....cutting me short.
"Uh-oh", I muttered, then closed my locker. I tried to slink away..
"Stop there!" The voice snapped and i stopped in my tracks, then turned to face a 'not happy' looking demon.
"Heh- hi Aiden". I waved at him, greeting nervously.
"What was that about?" He asked, walking closer to me.
"You look extremely dashing today". I complimented, ignoring what he asked.
"Enough!" He yelled, inching much more closer to me....he was enraged.
I took few steps backwards as he came closer and then stopped as i felt my locker behind me....
Good grief!
Mia who was also watching the scene, alongside curious students, stepped in between the both of us....she put her hands out, to stop him from moving closer.
"Its my fault...yell at me instead, she didn't mean to take the book from you, she was just helping me". She said as her voice cracked with fear.
Good grief! She thought he was yelling at me because of her book, Boy! She doesn't understand what's really going on.
"Shut up!" He spat out, shoving her aside with ease as she just moved out of his way, like air.
"Why did you do that?" He asked with clenched teeth as he finally closed the gap between us, placing both of his palms on my locker, trapping me with it.
I looked up at his face, i felt his hot breaths on my face... With him standing so close, i felt really short, cause i had to look up before i could see his face.
"Um....you're making a scene". I whispered to him...
"Answer me!" He punched my locker angrily. I shook in fear, shutting my eyes.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry". I bit my lip as i opened my eyes to look at him. "But I was kinda saying the truth".
"Don't mess with me". He growled, then scoffed... "I can't believe she sided with you...and now she thinks i tried to assault you", he said in low tones, not wanting anybody to hear.
"You harassed me", i said in whispers, then pouted.
He casted me a death glare and i joined my lips together, shutting it tight.
"I want you to tell her that you lied and i'm innocent".
"What now?" I asked, pretending I didn't hear him...
"Tell her I'm innocent and you accused me falsely". He said sternly and i tried not to let out a chuckle.
"Not happening". I murmured and dropped to a crouch, then escaped through the little gap left. I grabbed Mia and we sprinted to the classroom.

Time skip....
"What did you do to anger my Aiden little witch?!" Courtney snarled at me as she pushed my food aside...
"Tell me what you did". She folded her arms, so did her faithful dogs...Chloe and Claudia. Staring at me.
Ughhhh! Not this bitch again...
"I can see you're less busy and that you're not hungry, but please i'm hungry, so let me eat my food in peace". I said and pulled my tray of food closer to eat. She pushed it again...
"You haven't answered my question, bulldog!".
I sighed and stood up, carrying my tray of food...."i'll look for another table". I told Mia and walked away, then scanned the hall with my eyes.
My gaze landed on a particular table, only one student was seated and she wasn't eating, she was busy with her phone. It was Raven.
I approached the table and sat down opposite her....
"I hope you don't mind, i kinda have some pests disturbing me at my former table". I said to her and was waiting for her to scowl at me and send me away. But then, she looked up at me shocked.
Quickly, she looked away and focused on her phone without uttering a word.
"Um...aren't you hungry?" I asked concerned and she paused.
Without looking up, she muttered..
"What do you care? Don't talk to me".
I cleared my throat and continued eating my food in silence.
I don't blame her, I guess she was acting like that because she wasn't used to having a friend or students care about her.
"I - uh - I really like your hair". I said, anyway.
"I said, don't talk to me". She grumbled.
"But i really like your hair and I...."
She whipped her head up and casted me a glare.
"Sorry". I murmured and continued eating. When i was done, i was about to clear the table and leave, but my eyes settled on the charm bracelets on my wrist.. They were friendship bracelets which my mom had gotten me. She said to share it out to my close friends.
I sighed and stared at Raven, since she doesn't have any friends, the bracelet would help her feel she had. Besides, she has been helping me out with Courtney..
I removed one of the bracelets and handed it out to her, "Here...have this". I smiled..
She looked at me, then at the bracelet and rolled her eyes...
"Take it away from my face".
"Um...I just wanted to gift it out to you since...."
"I'm not your friend and you aren't mine either". She hissed and stood up..
I lowered my head and fondled the bracelet as she left the table. A feeling of sadness, engulfed me....
"You know what? Let me have it". My ears picked up her voice as i raised my head to see her in front of me.....
She actually came back?!
"R-Raven?" I ventured...
"I changed my mind, give it to me before I'll change my mind again". She said.
I beamed as i quickly gave her the bracelet and smiled.
"Thank you"...I muttered.
"Who should appreciate who?" She asked confused. "I'm the one who just received a gift".
"Yeah, thanks for accepting it".
"Whatever", she said..."There'll be a birthday party tonight and i want you to be there".
"Huh?" I stared at her, puzzled.
"Jerry is celebrating his birthday and he invited the students, here's the invitation card...." She handed over a card to me and with that, she left.
I couldn't believe what just happened, Raven actually talked to me, she accepted my bracelet and even invited me to a birthday party? What are the odds?
My cheeks hurt badly from smiling too much as i stood up with my tray and headed for the counter...

English class....
Courtney and Raven were currently currently in a heated slugfest as Raven had blasted Courtney for disturbing my peace.
I was mentally blushing as i thought of how Raven defended me, she was literally my guardian angel.
They didn't even acknowledge the English teacher's presence.
"Sweetie i'm gonna need you to put those few remaining brain cells together and work with the class okay?" Raven said...
"Few? Brain cells? Your heart is as cold as my room and i can't feel my toes in that room so its bloody cold!". Courtney retorted.
"You don't have to tell me before I know i have a cold heart....I would've slapped you right now but shit splatters so i don't wanna risk that".
"Oh sorry, was that supposed to offend me?" Courtney asked..
"Ugh! I feel like I lost all my braincells just listening to you...one more word from your stupid self and i can't be held responsible for my actions". Raven spat out.
"What are you gonna do huh? Wait....stupid? You called me stupid?" Courtney gasped out.
"Quiet!!!" Miss Becca yelled in frustration...
"But ma'am she called me stupid". Courtney whined.
"Enough! Now both of you apologize to each other... Raven apologize to Courtney".
"Why should I?" Raven asked, grumpily.
"You insulted her". Miss Becca replied.
"No, I didn't...I wasn't insulting her, I was describing her". Raven said, gritting her teeth.
"Raven?"
"Ugh! Whatever, i'm sorry i hurt your feelings when i called you stupid". Raven said, turning to face Courtney and the students gasped.
Wait! She just apologized?!
"I really thought you already knew you're stupid". She added.
There was an uproar of laughter and i couldn't help but giggle... I knew she couldn't apologize to Courtney. Not with the kind of pride she had.
"How dare you?!" Courtney yelled.
"Both of you...out! Detention room now!" Miss Becca snapped.
"No....not detention" Courtney whined.
"Would've been a boring class anyway". Raven mumbled and stood up, she made to go out of the class....but when she got to my seat, she whispered to me...
"Miss the party and i'll kill you". Then she walked out, with Courtney fuming and lagging behind her.
The students turned to look at me puzzled.. I guess they were surprised that Raven had whispered something to me...
