He was sound asleep with his wife in his arms when she began pushing him. He realized she had been summoned to the sea of blood and let her sleep walk around the room in circles for a while before she went to the balcony and climbed onto the railing.
He followed her and discovered she was just standing there without aiming to do anything at all.
The wind blew her hair backwards, her gown stuck to her body, and it was such a perfect view for him that he didn't bother removing her from the land of the sea of blood.
When he heard her call his name in panic, he ran towards her, grabbed her by her gown-covered legs, and dragged her back to the room, where he placed her on the bed.
Sage stared at Cyrus as she heaved a sigh of relief, while he looked at her as if he was about to devour her.
"Are you afraid of the land of the sea of blood, or of coming out of it and seeing yourself on the verge of death?" Cyrus inquired dully.
