Sage walked nervously past the dungeon cells. Her steps were slow and careful, her chest rising and falling slowly as her mind tried to play dungeon terrors that must have happened.
The cells were so dark that even the fire torches in the dungeon couldn't light them up.
Were there any living beings in those spaces?
Sage swallowed, puzzled as to how Darren had escaped from the dungeon. She hoped he was okay because she was the one who got him locked up in the first place, but why did Sergio let him out? What was their relationship?
"Sage?!" In a dark space beside her, a familiar voice filled with pain called out.
Sage came to a halt and took a slow look around.
Sage walked closer to see Lianna visible and she looked terribly fifthly as her dirty bloodied hands gripped the sturdy bars.
"Sage, my dear," she said, her smile trembling.
Was she trembling with joy?
