I always felt a special connection with the moon, its silvery bright rays always gave me chill, whenever I look at it, it makes me feel powerful.
On 21 December 2014, it was my 17th birthday, we decided to celebrate at my parents birthplace which is at forestcreek, bluzaria for the first time, I never visited before, it's all because my grand parents were against my parents marriage but they did it anyway, and after 17 years my parents decided to finally meet them, we stayed in a cabin at the outskirts of the silver lake forest, the place was beautiful long stretch of snowy landscape and the smell of damp pine made the air fresh.
it was morning time I was standing in the balcony, when mom called me in the living room, she was holding a beautiful ring in her hand she gave that to me as my birthday present, then dad joined us and he gave me a wooden box and inside of it was a silver pen ,I loved writing like my dad and he always encouraged me to pursue my passion, that was a sweet family moment we shared together, we had a great time there, but still something was off, my parents were a bit stressed, I can see that, maybe its because they were going to meet there family after a long time they must be nervous about that.
In the afternoon we had a visitor it was my dad's childhood friend , he advised dad to visit his family tomorrow as they were having some sort of family tradition in which the whole valley will gather and he would not be able to interact with him properly dad agreed, and the visitor left after wishing me I didn't know but there was something wrong with his smile it was creepy.
After dinner we decided to play cards, it was almost midnight we were in the living room having a good time playing cards , I went to washroom and paused the game for a while and on my way I noticed through the balcony that it was full moon, its always been a full moon on all of my birthdays, it feels like a gift from the quite night sky to me as I loved starring at the moon.
When I was in the washroom, suddenly the lights went off, I heard a weird growling the kind I never heard before coming from a distant, I sprinted out of washroom and saw my father in the front yard looking at the moon in a very creepy way and then with his expressionless face he took off his ring the one he always used to wear, then I heard my mom screaming, standing at front door runs towards me and she told me to run upstairs in my room and to lock my self in and not to open it, I could see the fear in her eyes love you honey she said, I was crying frozen in horror and didn't dare to move, my mom screamed again gene run!! and I was crying and, crawling on the stairs falling and locked my door as soon as I reached in, now the growling sound was coming right from our yard and then I heard my dad screaming ,I broke into tears and felt like my blood went cold, I was standing right in the middle of my room frozen in horror I can't move what's happening?. .and started to cry, then I heard a loud crashing sound and more screams of my parents, and this weird loud roaring, it was right below me, and I could hear my mom begging to stop, but that merciless creature didn't stopped she was screaming in pain, I was so scared and was crying for my mom, there were loud banging and scratching sounds and after a few moments my mom scream stopped, I knew something has happened to her, and I can do nothing to save her, but there was still this pacing back and forth continuous bangs on the wall, I run towards the window for help but all I could see was this bright moon and pitch black every where, it was darkness all around as far as I could see, is this the end? in this horrible way, but the moon still gave me some hope, I wanted to think about a way to help my parents but I knew nothing will work .
I was whimpering and praying ,and then comes the worst nightmare there was complete silence my all sense stopped to work and then I heard footsteps coming towards me closer and closer, I grabbed all my courage and hopped under the bed , the sound of footsteps stopped right in front of my door and with a loud bang the door fell on the floor ,and right there I saw a thing looked like a werewolf, it was grinding its teeth with blood all over his mouth it was smiling and it looked familiar it was my dad's friend, I stopped breathing and started to pray that what ever that thing is its not real its a dream, and that beast stepped in with a grinning look on his face , his eyes were shining as it bend and look directly towards me, I know I was going to die in the most horrifying way I couldn't ever imagine and it sprinted towards me but stopped, after hearing a distant growling, and run away I was confused.
and trying to make sense what is actually happening and at the same time worried about my parents but I was too scared, to go down stair
I was really scared i sat in the corner of my room crying, I didn't want to make scene of what is happening and neither had the courage to run, I was just crying and felt sick to my stomach, I fell to the ground and passed out.
then I woke up next the morning the full moon was gone and the sun was shining brightly up in the sky , it seemed like a new beginning after that horrible night it gave me some courage and hope, I stepped out of my room and turned towards the stairs, I was shivering while walking and noticed that there were scratches all over the staircase , I started to cry and was visibly shaking, I closed my eyes cause I know what I was going to face.
I stand there for a few minutes and then finally gathered my strength to open my eyes and I saw blood everywhere as I was walking towards the hallway and then I saw a corpse of a men in a brutal condition and then right in front of me was my mom, lying on the floor blood pouring all over her body she was dead,.....my mom she died I was absolutely devastated and started to scream for my mom to wake up ,to comeback telling her that I need her ,but nothing worked she was already dead.
I cannot ever imagine how suddenly everything changed, how a beautiful day converted into this cold bloody massacre, I will never be able to cope with this lose, its just gone everything is gone, please stop! someone just stop this, I cannot bear this anymore, I screamed mommy wake up, I didn't look for my dad I knew what must have happened to him and I didn't wanted to see my fathers corpse ,I was just crying and screaming for my parents at top of lungs, I never imagine to find my self so helpless.
I will never be able to fix this no matter how hard I try, my mom and dad they are gone, my parents were the most kind being ,how God can be this unfair to them?
After a few moments I heard cars pulling voice of people gathering around coming from the yard, then I heard footsteps ,and I was absolutely broke and didn't care who it was, I was just crying then i saw a huge man, tall coming towards me, he held me by my arm and i struggle to loosen the grip, I was punching and kicking that person with all my strength ,but it didn't work he dashed me out of the house and there were a bunch of people in the front yard and on the road they were carrying a corpse covered, I believed it was my fathers as I saw the bracelet my father used to wear , it was there on the corpse wrist I cried daddy and burst into tears, and screamed but nothing will change now I fall to ground and cried and screamed for my parents
to come back two elderly women sat beside me and they were trying to console me .
but nothing can compensate the loss of my parents.
all our happy moments flashed in front of my eyes , but its all gone, I'm alone now like the moon in that dark cold night.
