Natha said we would have to wake up several times during the night, but when I opened my eyes, the sunlight had already streamed into the room. It seemed like I was sleeping so soundly that I didn't even wake up in the middle of the night to pee or drink water as usual.

The balcony door creaked open, then, and Natha stepped inside, playing with a giggling Shwa with his finger. He raised his head and smiled widely when our eyes met. "Ah, you're awake?" he closed the balcony door slightly with the heel of his foot. "I was feeding Shwa on the balcony so he could get some sunlight."
