Chapter 8: Hide inside the bathroom

'What do you mean by you can't enter his head?' I asked him, if I can do it then why can't he?, don't we share the same powers?
'I don't know what's going on in your head right now, I can't do that and you know that, I'm only a wolf, I don't have the power to make magic!'
'Just let's get out of here, I'm really getting scared, he's up on his feet, he's coming towards us!' He exclaimed before I could give him reply,
The chair almost fell over as I stood up quickly, Jaime and I made out of the restaurant and got to his suite before anyone could see us.
"I don't really understand what's going on here, why were you asking me to get into our principal's head?" It was the first question Jaime asked me after he locked the door.
"I was just really eager for something to happen and save us, I wasn't thinking straight at the time, I guess I was hoping some fairy god mother would wave her wand and everything would be fine"
I shrugged, I was still kind of surprised, to know he can't do what I can,
How's that even possible?, all wolves are suppose to have that power amidst other things right?, so why can't he do it?
It would have been fine if he told me he doesn't use his powers because he's not allowed to, because even my parents don't use theirs because the pack forbids it but why is he lying?
"You're a sensible girl Andra and I'm sure there's no way you would've thought of those things if there really wasn't something going on, tell me Andra what's going on?, where did getting into people head come from?" He asked, folding his arms.
"I already told you I was anxious at the time and that was the reason I said that, I don't wanna talk about this please, I just wanna eat and sleep, I'm really so very tired and stressed too" I replied, well if he's going to play dumb, I know how to play dumb too.
"OK fine, you can use the bathroom first if you want" He shrugged like it didn't matter.
"Thank you but like I said, right now the only thing I want is to eat and sleep" I said.
"Ok, but there's one question I'll like to ask you, we're save tonight but then you know very well how much trouble we'll be if anyone finds out we're spending the night together?"
"I know, what do you propose I do?, show myself to that Alpha and get into trouble?" I asked him.
"That is not what I mean, what am trying to tell you is, how are you gonna explain to Ms Sarah or any of the teachers the reason why you didn't sleep in your room tonight?"
"They don't have to know I'm not there, unless you're planning to tell them of course" I said yawning.
"Don't be silly, I'm not going to tell them but Pam is surely going to, she's your roomie remember?, and what will happen if she doesn't see you in the room tonight?, you think she'll just keep quiet?" He asked,
"Well I don't think so either" I shrugged.
"You make it sound like you don't care if she tells or not" he frowned.
"Well, I plan to sneak back into the room before dawn, by then I'm sure the Alpha would've been long gone and we won't have to worry about pack issues any more" I sighed
We heard a knock at the door as Jaime was about to speak.
"I think the food is here" I glanced at the door
"Or they at here, is it possible that they found us?" Jaime asked out loud
"You can never say till we check" I replied and moved towards the door
"Wait" He stopped me
"What?"
"You can't go, I mean it'll look weird if it's the room service, the suite was booked under my name right?, which means they'll expect to see a male, the less people that knows you're here the better" He explained
"Then what should I do?, jump out of the window?"
"More like go hide in the bathroom" He said annoyingly and turned to the door, maybe I should really go hide in the bathroom,
I opened the bathroom door as silently as I could, got in and closed it.
I listened to their conversation, which wasn't much of a conversation, it turned out it was actually the room service,
I got out of the bathroom immediately the lady left the room.
"Thankfully she's human" Jaime said holding his chest.
"I see no point in hiding, with the amount of food you ordered, they're bound to know there are two of us here and principal Anderson or one of the teachers is going to notice our absence and since you've asked from the principal, permission for us to stay together in your room tonight, what do you think will happen?, that he won't figure out we spent the night together in your room?"
I asked, even though I plan to do something about the principal, either erase the conversation he had with Jaime from his memory or— in fact a better idea just occurred to me,
I could just make him remember sending Jaime up to his room for bad behavior and me to mine because I fell sick!, perfect!
Now I'll make Jaime pay for trying to fool me and make me think he doesn't have the same powers I have.
"Well, I guess that's a problem" He rubbed his eyes.
"Trust me, you're going to be in lots of problem" I smirked and got down to the business of getting something to eat.

CRAVEN

the girl left with the boy without turning back once...
"Alpha..." Ellie called softly, I was brought to my senses, I didn't even realize I was up and walking towards their table.
"Is everything OK?" She asked softly, wondering what's going on in my mind.
"Hmm" I gave a short nod
"You said you're wanted to eat and food is here"
"Yes" I went back to the table
Something's wrong here, why did they leave in a hurry?,
was it because they saw that I was coming towards them?, and what's wrong with me?
Since I perceived that scent I've been losing my senses, I do things without actually knowing I'm doing them, am I going crazy?
"I need some wine"
"I'll have them bring a bottle" Ellie replied.

I sneaked into mine and Pam's room before dawn, I couldn't perceive his scent nor did I see the Alpha around,
Luckily for me I didn't meet anyone on the way but I wasn't so lucky when I got to the room, Pam was ready for me, it looked like she's been waiting for me all night.
"Hi there" she said as soon as I closed the door, I was shocked to hear a someone's voice, I felt like a thief.
"Hi" I replied, my throat dry, I needed water.
"And where are you coming from madam?" Pam asked with a smile, it was a mocking smile, she rose from her sitting position and walked towards me slowly.
"You suddenly lost your ability to speak now?" She smirked,
"I want water" I croaked out and swallowed hard, yeah Pam is a cunning girl, I can see that clearly, but then I remember that I still have a score to settle with her.
"You want water?, there it's on the table and you can drink to your satisfaction" she closed her eyes and smiled widely
"But after then, you'll have answer all my questions" she added and nodded towards the water.
"Maybe you don't understand what I was trying to tell you, I wanted to say I'll give you an answer to your question after I drink water" I gave her a smile of my own and walked towards the table, poured myself a glass of water and sat down on a couch.
"You have so much ego don't you?" She made a sound in her throat.
"But I promise you, you'll have none of the confidence you have now when I tell the principal that you didn't sleep in the room tonight" she smirked again.
"Well you won't be smirking much when I tell him what you did to my clothes" I told her, taking a sip of the water.
"So cool" I touched my throat
"And how will you prove I cut your clothes?, none of them seem to have any problem" She said smartly.
"Hmmn, I guess you're right, but do you know what I just found out?" I asked, looking straight into her eyes
"I—"
"No don't stress yourself I'll tell you, you know, I had a doubt about it earlier but now, you've made it clear that you really have something to do with my clothes"
