"But I will," He whispered, an aura of danger encompassing his deceptively childish smile as he sat on Itsuka's lap.
"You and I are gonna sit together for the remainder of this trip and we're gonna have fun with it, right?" He breathed into her face as he finally raised from Itsuka's legs.
Kinsei shifted his wrists into smoke and sat next to her as Itsuka stared in disgust at his hands that had remained clasped to her arms.
Kinsei had made it so the vapour extended from the edge of his hands and connected to his arms, making it so they could act freely while his fists kept Itsuka's arms locked in place.
"What the hell do you want with me and how do you know my name? I've never met you," Itsuka demanded with contained anger as Kinsei leaned his head against her tense shoulder.
"What do "I" want with you? Weren't you the one who walked up to me, sweetie?" He responded in a demeaning tone.
"As for your second question, I watched you for a long time!" He responded truthfully as Itsuka froze in terror.
'Watching me? How long has he been... Has he been stalking me? Shit... Is he kidnapping me...?' She asked herself frantically in her mind, slightly hyperventilating as Kinsei ignored the disturbing reaction and draped his arm over the shaking girl's shoulders.
"Wanna play rock-paper-scissors?"
She didn't respond and simply glanced hesitantly at Kinsei who looked up at her with an innocent look in his bloodshot gaze that displayed nothing but negative intent.
And so, the two sat in uncomfortable silence as the train continued on its way to Saitama.
...
...
...
"You know, if one of my kids came out looking like Jason Sudeikis, I'm shoving it back in and tellin' it to cook a little bit."
They had been sitting on the train for 2 hours now and, at this point, Itsuka was becoming desensitized to Kinsei's whole shtick.
He just kept talking and talking and talking, prattling away every single thought that popped into his head to the point where Itsuka's fear was now more like a grudging annoyance.
"Autobots roll out!" Kinsei shouted, making robotic movements as Itsuka's face cringed in complete irritation at his antics.
"Hey, Itsuka. Did you know that not everyone has a voice in their head!" He exclaimed with pure disbelief as Itsuka turned to him with a look of resignation.
"Okay, okay, FINE! Fine, I submit! Just PLEASE shut UP! I'll do whatever you want... But please... just stop talking," She begged with tears in her eyes as Kinsei rose an eyebrow.
"The fuck're you on about?" He questioned crudely as a confused expression crossed Itsuka's face.
"What are y-"
"I don't want anything from you..."
"Then why-"
"I'm just having fun!" He grinned widely.
Itsuka's expression fell.
"Are you not having fun?" Kinsei inquired in a curious tone as Itsuka remained silent and unmoving.
...
...
...
'This is my chance...' Itsuka thought to herself with a determined expression as she stared intently at Kinsei's drowsy demeanour.
Throughout the length of their train ride, Itsuka had been subtly waiting for Kinsei to get tired and fall asleep. However, she wasn't tired at all because she was way too worried to even feel slightly tired.
"Hey, you awake...?" She whispered lightly, grimacing in anticipation as Kinsei snored and drooled over the side of the window.
Smiling hopefully, Itsuka slowly used her fingers to carefully peel off Kinsei's detached fingers as his hands turned to smoke and returned to his body.
'That's helpful,' She commented in her head as she quietly stood up and prepared to backpedal out of the area.
*Click*
She froze at the feeling of cold metal against her temple.
"*Yawn* Where are you going, so soon?" Kinsei questioned with a tilt of his head as Itsuka's shaky gaze turned to the silver revolver in Kinsei's hand.
"Sit down."
She complied.
"Apologize."
She complied.
"Now, tell me what you did wrong..." He growled lowly as he seated himself in front of the terrified girl and placed the revolver against her forehead, gently pushing her head with the smoke-covered metal device.
"I- I sh... I shouldn't have t- tried to run..." She stuttered out in a blubbering mess as she finally realized the danger she was in.
She hadn't felt all too threatened before but now... Now that he had a gun to her head... she finally understood just how dangerous and unstable the man in front of her was.
"That's right! Good girl..." He whispered with a warm smile as he gently patted the petrified ginger on the head.
"Two more hours and we can finally get off this STUPID FUCKING... train..." Kinsei said with restrained anger that descended into serenity as Itsuka's uneasy gaze stared at the insane man with one thought floating through her mind.
'I'm going to die...'
...
...
...
...
"Fina-FUCKING-ly!" Kinsei yelled with the intent of being as annoying as possible.
Behind the man was Itsuki who was too fearful of how he would react if she attempted to escape. She could scream and get help but Kinsei still had the gun on him and would be able to kill her faster than anyone could come to help.
Despite her desire to be a hero, Itsuka was still young and would rather burden the world with Kinsei's presence rather than let herself get killed.
However, the stress was finally over. The train ride was finished and Itsuka could finally rest easy.
"Follow me," Said Kinsei as Itsuka gained a surprised look.
"Wait- I can't leave?" Itsuka questioned nervously as Kinsei rolled his eyes playfully.
"You're silly. You can leave later but not right now, okay, honey?" He said with a fake pout and a demeaning cheek pinch as Itsuka frustratingly walked behind Kinsei.
...
A few minutes of accelerated walking later, and they arrived at a cheap hotel that Kinsei had shadily registered for himself on his way to Saitama.
Kinsei and Itsuka walked into the hotel lobby and grabbed his key, the employee looking at them suspiciously for a second before dismissing it as the two entered Kinsei's room.
"If you want me to stay here, then where am I supposed to sleep?"
Kinsei looked at her like she was stupid.
"On the floor, idiot."
Her mouth went agape, "What!? But that's not-"
"-Comfortable? I'm no simp, sleep on the floor, bitch."
Concealing her annoyance, Itsuka grudgingly sat on the ground with a furrowed brow.
"Now, time to get to work!" He told himself, opening his bag and pulling out his data on Hitoshi Shinso with a menacing undertone to his smirk.
'Long distance snipe in the middle of the night... Should be enough to kill the little twerp,' He monologued, glancing at Itsuka as he considered what to do with her.
He could kill her, but her power was pretty useless and people had seen them together so it wouldn't be the best decision.
'I got it!' He thought as an idea sprouted in his mind.
"You'll be my pokemon!"
Itsuka's shoulders dropped hopelessly.
"You and me are gonna be together for my whole journey. Like a trainer and his Pokemon," He declared cheerfully as despair and rage consumed Itsuka's fragile mind.
Itsuka's anger took over and she expanded her hands, charging Kinsei's unaware back with raised fists as she whipped her clenched fists at him.
*PING!*
The sound of suppressed gunfire hit Itsuka's eardrums as a searing pain overcame Itsuka's body, her fist returning to normal size.
She fell to her knees with a muffled shout of pain as her watery eyes gazed in distress at her bleeding leg, "Hik... Agh!" She cried as she shakily gripped her bullet wound.
"However, a pet should be properly disciplined, don't you think...?" Kinsei spoke quietly as he lowered his suppressed SIG.
"Agh... ghaahha!" She gasped in airy cries as Kinsei grabbed a cloth and began wrapping her bleeding leg.
"Just don't misbehave and nothing will happen," He said with a smile as the stress of the day incited darkness to fill Itsuka's vision.
"..."
"Did you just fall asleep?" He sighed.
Kinsei grabbed Itsuka's limp body by the shirt and flung her into the corner so he had more space.
Kinsei reached into his bag and pulled out a strange chemical as well as a syringe. He jabbed the syringe into the bottle and sucked the chemical into it as he walked over to Itsuka's body.
"Go to sleep..." He whispered as he injected her with the strange toxin, 'That should keep her asleep for at least a couple of hours... or days...'
Now, it was time to kill a kitty.
Kinsei grabbed his key and locked the door behind him as he exited the cheap hotel and took to the dark streets.
Spotting Nabu Middle School, Kinsei walked over to an abandoned building a few blocks over and climbed up to the roof using his vapour shifting.
It was currently almost the end of the school day and the sun had almost begun to create a sunset. Just a few more minutes and Kinsei's plan could finally work.
Based purely on logical deduction, Kinsei assumed that Shinso would come out of the school last so as to avoid attention and planned to wait till then.
Placing a pair of Sony Walkman headphones he had purchased from a garage sale on his head, Kinsei began listening to Barbie Girl on repeat until school finished.
...
"3... 2... 1..."
*BRRRRING!*
Hearing the sound of a school bell ringing, Kinsei leaned over the rooftop and watched the students pour out of the building with excitement in his eyes.
"No, no, no, no, no..." He muttered, his eyes shifting through numerous children before his eyes finally settled on one.
"Bingo..." He whispered as he pulled his sniper out of his duffel bag and set up a suppressor on it.
...
...
[With Shinso]
"Hahhh... Rude..." A purple-haired kid sighed to himself after an annoying conversation with another person who thought of his quirk as villainous.
He constantly endured his classmates' comments about the "potential" of his quirk but that didn't mean he wasn't affected by the claims that he would make a great villain.
He may not show it much but he still had feelings. He was just a kid, and to have to deal with that is a constant pressure that made it hard for him to even sleep at night.
"Well, whatever, it doesn't matter..." He muttered to himself as he traversed the increasingly darkening streets of the city.
After walking for a few minutes, Shinso looked up from the ground and froze at the sight of a group of his classmates standing near the street that he needed to take to go home.
'I'm not dealing with them, today,' He thought with an irritated expression as he took a detour and traversed through the empty part of the town.
He walked through the disturbingly empty streets and turned to a grassy area that he knew would eventually lead back to his home.
A few minutes of walking later and Shinso had finally reached his father's home.
His father was an odd fellow, in his opinion. And it wasn't just because he had a criminal record.
Hitoshi's father, Hajime, wasn't a bad person at all. The only reason he had a criminal record was because of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
The reason Hitoshi thought his father was weird, was because of the same reason he thought that HE, as in himself, was weird. Because of the fact that the two of them most definitely had emotions but seemed to not display them ever.
Sighing, Hitoshi knocked on the door and waited patiently for his father to open it for him.
It barely took a second, and a tired-looking man with a similar appearance opened the door with a smile that Hitoshi reciprocated.
"Hey, Hitoshi, how was school?" The man asked as he gave his son a hug.
"It was fine," Hitoshi muttered before spotting something in his father's hand.
"What's that?" He questioned confusedly.
"Oh, it's a gun that I've been modifying to pass the time that I get from my No Sleep quirk. Pretty cool, right?" Hajime replied, excited to show his hobby to his son.
Hitoshi gained a worried look, "Didn't you get arrested for owning a gun, Dad!?" Hitoshi asked as Hajime shook his head in amusement.
"It's fine, this one was purchased legally," Hajime placated the worried boy.
"In that case, yes... It IS pretty cool--" Hitoshi attempted to reply only to get interrupted by a strange noise.
"Hey, Dad, do you hear that?" Hitoshi questioned as he moved back a bit and looked around the area.
The man thought about it for a second, "Ah, right, I forgot! Our neighbours are doing some renovations," He explained as Hitoshi sighed.
Their neighbours were kind people, but their son was someone that Hitoshi absolutely despised.
"Why don't we head inside?" The father questioned with a smile as he wrapped his arm around his son's shoulder in a friendly gesture.
His father was irreplaceable.
Hitoshi's love for his father was strong.
He would do anything for him.
And so, Hitoshi smiled...
"Sure, Da--"
*PING!*
