General Beige emerged from his tent with a devastated look, as if he had witnessed the end. 'The alpha would send them to their ruins' he thought. He gaped at the campsite, watching the men idly sitting across from one another, laughing and talking, but the truth was unknown to them. His mind wondered, 'What would be their next course of action?' The war seemed like it was going to end in chaos, and their loss would be a heavy weight for him to bear. 

General Irah approached him, seeing the distant gaze still evident in his eyes. He cleared his throat with a grunt and cough, which snapped him out of his daze. He questioned with a curious gaze.

"Is anything the matter? You seemed lost for a while. You barely saw me approach you," Irah had his head tilted to the side. He hoped to get a better look at his sullen face and guess what could be wrong. He knew he had walked out from the alpha's tent, so it had to be nothing short of dreadful news.
