"What is this I hear?" Gerald was bewildered.
Hanzee sat just at the corner, a twisted smile playing on his lips as he stared cockily. "Your plans sucked. You have failed to kill them as planned," he breaks into a cackling laugh, clearly amused by Gerald's demise. Then he continues to say, "His men are still walking and breathing, and guess what happened to the hag you sent? She's died," he said.
It was more of a mockery on his face. Hanzee wanted to enjoy every last bit of it. While he had the chance. It was not very often that Gerald's plans failed. It was rather unspoken-off. But what do you know?
Gerald, on the other hand, could not begin to wrap around the fact he had lost; he demised the messenger who had reported to them the news of his failed mission. A slap to the face was what it felt like. It was hard to acknowledge that, since he was very meticulous in his plans, they seldom failed.
