Trevor and Miguel were locked in a menacing stare, both not wanting to budge down. Esme came in between them and she used her hands to put a bridge between them. They broke away from their locked gaze Trevor being the first his eyes narrowed on Esme.
"Come with me now and I will forget everything I ever saw here. I will even be compliant to forgive your voluntary absence in our lives," he stated. Only if he knew it wasn't that simple. Esme pursed her lips looking conflicted at him. It wasn't coming back that was the issue but the danger she might cause if she stayed with them.
"You can't go with him, We haven't finished talking," Miguel held her back, and for a moment he had seen her slowly give in to his persuasion. He was beating himself up with the fact he had lost her a long time ago and now she had chosen another. It was unacceptable, he saved her when the person she chose threw parties yet she seek him out regardless. He was supposed to be the one.
