She pointed the way to the room for us to have a look before we joined Trevor Julia in town. Her tone pitched up higher from earlier as she directed us around.
"and for a small bonus, you can have breakfast in bed early in the morning before you leave. My treat for your wedding gift" she chirped excitedly at us.
I smiled gratefully at her kind gesture. About to decline.
"it fine-"
"We'll take it" Lucien intervened, accepting her generous offer. I whipped my head at him.
"aren't you being a little ungrateful already?"I bit at him trying not to sound too harsh in front of the woman.
"she did offer, it would be rude to decline now, won't it?" he shrugged freely, not seeing my point in the argument.
"I'm sure she is only trying to be kind. Don't take advantage of it" a sudden chuckle turning into fits of laughter stopped our little banter and bickering.
