"but alpha" Julia started hesitantly but was cut immediately.
"We will discuss further about it tomorrow," he said, ending the conversation there.
I started to walk away with Percy, and then…
"except you, Esme," he said in a stern voice. I passed in my step earning a worried look from Percy. Then I continued walking away.
"don't walk away when I am talking to you" he warned, however, I didn't bother to listen instead I kept walking forward.
I flipped him a finger, not bothering to look behind to see his not-so-glamorous reaction. I was beyond fuming to even look him in the eye without wanting to punch him hard in the face.
"Esme" he called out again. This time Percy stepped in blocking my part.
"it's better you answer you don't want to make this any worse" her hands trembled as they touched mine. He was obviously intimidating us with his aura. She left. And so did Julia.
