"You have an uninvited guest waiting for you at the border gates," Trevor said beside me while I marked out the papers before me.
"Who could that be?" as far as I know no one would be coming here for a while.
"Humans" Trevirs face pulled up into a scowl. Then he added, "according to the messenger another dead body was found in our borders. "
Not again,
"Do away with them then," I said. I was frustrated with the amount of paperwork I had to complete after being absent for some days now humans were knocking at the borders. What a shitty day.
"We weren't able to get to the body before the humans did,'' he said disappointedly.
"The trackers didn't smell the body in our borders," I asked in disbelief.
He shook his head negatively. No wonder. The Humans wanted to speak to them. Normally they would search for the supposed victims and wander off after a while with no result.
I dropped the pen, standing up.
