Inside the bar,
I laughed at something he had said as we stopped near one of the vip tables in the bar.
When my eyes traveled to the two people present my jaw dropped.
If I had known, taking his invitation would lead to this point. I would have rejected it instantly.
There was an awkward silence as I gazed at Lucien and Julia seated next to each other in the vip room. What a coincidence.
I was beyond shocked to see them expecting they had come together on some sort of date. But it happened to be a meeting. I looked at… Come to think of it. I didn't know his name.
