Hanzee and his men had not crossed the frontlines but rather waited. Lucien was already at the wall where they stood. He gathered only a few with him to venture past the gates, while the rest stood on the wall and some on the inner wall.
They stared at one another for what felt like a long time until Hanzee spoke. "I have come to collect my prize," he stated coldly at him. He gestured his hands across his neck in one clean swipe.
"We would only waste time with blood and distraction, so why don't I propose to you? a one-on-one? You surely don't have enough men to fight with you. or you planned to take us all on your own. " Hanzee laughed at the thought: "It would be just too easy for me." His voice turned serious at the end.
"I accept," Lucien said, narrowing his eyes at his men to draw back behind. they looked between themselves a bit reluctant to at first however soon obeyed his orders.
