"Sorry for the repetition, but we just wanted to reintroduce ourselves to ensure that we do not offend Fubuki-sama in any way."
The newly arrived group was taken aback by the unexpected presence of Kaiser in Fubuki's room. Initially, their intention was merely to conduct a brief interrogation with her. However, they are now uncertain about their next course of action.
"Let's not be overly formal, folks. It's clear that this woman was anticipating our arrival, as evidenced by the presence of this gentleman."
Upon hearing Puri Puri Prisoner's words, Fubuki's eyes widened in surprise. She glanced at Kaiser, a hint of concern in her gaze as if she feared he had misunderstood her intentions.
To everyone's astonishment, including Puri Puri Prisoner himself, the man they had been tirelessly searching for appeared before their eyes. It was a moment of unexpected revelation for the Heroes Association staff. They heightened their vigilance, consumed by fear that this might all be an elaborate trap.
"Well... I must admit, I am quite curious as to why you have graced us with your presence here at the esteemed Blizzard group headquarters. However, I must kindly request that you refrain from attempting to besmirch my reputation, and certainly, do not dare to display any impolite behaviour in my presence."
All eyes were fixed on Fubuki, filled with astonishment. Witnessing someone muster the audacity to challenge an S-class professional hero was truly remarkable. With the exception of Kaiser, who was already aware of her true nature, the others began to develop a modicum of respect for her. Some even felt compelled to offer an apology, but someone thwarted their intentions.
"I didn't misjudge you. right from the beginning, I could smell the scent of a bitch from you. If you had conventionally ascended your rank, I would not have been troubled. However, when you tried to showcase your Bitch nature on every television network, I could not remain silent."
"You insolent! Take back your words about Fubuki-sama or else-" Lily, who had been fulfilling the role of Fubuki's assistant, abruptly took out her three-section staff. With an unwavering stance that suggested a readiness for battle, she seemed poised to engage. However, Fubuki intervened, halting her in her tracks.
"This debate is really unpleasant to the ears, can you tell me your purpose and get out of here immediately?" Simultaneously, the objects within the room began to tremble with great intensity, causing the guests to perceive the very ground beneath their feet quivering.
Puri Puri Prisoner was well aware that this renowned Class A hero couldn't be easily intimidated. With this in mind, he shifted his gaze towards Kaiser, who had remained silent. His face was adorned with a smile that only enhanced his boundless charm. Curiously, he appeared to derive amusement from the ongoing bickering as if it were a form of entertainment.
"I've come with a pressing investigation regarding him. The Heroes Association harbours suspicions of his collusion with monsters. Should these allegations be confirmed, he would undoubtedly be deemed an enemy of humanity...:"
Puri Puri Prisoner strolled nonchalantly past Fubuki, taking a seat on the sofa directly in front of Kaiser. He positioned his feet atop the other as if to assert that his radiance was on par with Fubuki's.
"Honestly, this investigation has made significant progress thanks to my testimony... I believe you are already aware of that, correct?"
As Puri Puri Prisoner clutched the card that would secure his victory, a triumphant smile spread across Kaiser's face. His laughter erupted, filling the room and reverberating off the walls. Surprisingly, Puri Puri Prisoner didn't seem angered by the outburst. Instead, his focus was fixated on studying Kaiser's face.
'During our previous encounter, our meeting was rather brief. However, this time, I am determined to engrave your handsome face into the depths of my memory,' It was evident that Puri Puri Prisoner was not joking, as he had assisted the Hero Association in this particular instance with the intention of drawing nearer to Kaiser.
"I see. So, you believe that I sympathise with the monsters due to my association with Mosquito Girl, right?"
Kaiser was well aware that uttering his forthcoming words could potentially land him in even hotter water. The sight of Fubuki's pallid complexion only confirmed his suspicion that she had already deduced his intentions. However, he deemed it irrelevant to address her thoughts at this particular moment. Therefore, before anyone had the chance to interrupt him, he pressed on.
"The recent sighting of the mosquito monster can be attributed to my experimental endeavors. I must confess, there were certainly some actions she undertook that had negative consequences. However, it would be a grave mistake to label her as a monster."
Puri Puri Prisoner yearned to savor the melodic timbre of Kaiser's voice for a few moments longer. Yet, he found himself unable to suppress his mounting ire, "do you know how many humans that monster has killed? If I hadn't arrived in time, Stinger and Max would have been killed by it!"
"Wrong, they died due to a rather commonplace mosquito infestation. Mosquito Girl, surprisingly, played no role in this unfortunate event. In fact, you might even consider expressing gratitude towards her for effectively managing the mosquito population… As for Stinger and Max, I suggest you approach them directly to ask about their motivations for initiating the confrontation with Mosquito Girl."
Fubuki had a strong desire to halt Kaiser's constant chatter, as she was well aware that the situation had become perilous. She herself still couldn't believe it, because the Mosquito Girl she met in the forest was really different.
"Hmph, any seasoned hero worth their salt would swiftly kill that monster in sight. However, let's not forget the incident where she ruthlessly took down several of my fellow professional heroes."
The same could not be said for everyone else in the room despite Kaiser's outward appearance of calm. The atmosphere was still heavy with tension. Puri Puri Prisoner, however, showed no signs of relenting. He persisted in his relentless pursuit of any lead that could potentially expose Kaiser cover.
"You don't have proof that Mosquito Girl killed all the professional heroes. Perhaps it would be prudent to consider bestowing upon her a token of recognition, for it was her actions that ultimately led to the defeat of the formidable creature known as Kabuto."
The evidence supporting Puri Puri Prisoner's claims is rather weak, consisting mainly of his own testimony and a few indistinct recordings. If they desire greater certainty, it would be prudent for them to await the recovery of Spring Mustachio and Golden Ball from their coma. These two hold pivotal roles as the surviving witnesses to the brutal acts committed by Mosquito Girl.
"I'm done here, you can talk to Fubuki, It is truly unbelievable to fixate one's aspirations on trivial matters such as this, especially when there are people who are in greater need of your help, professional hero."
"Wait, Kaiser, you bastard, don't tell me you want to dump this all on me?"
As Fubuki sought to stop Kaiser with her persuasive rhetoric, Puri Puri Prisoner sprang into action with remarkable speed. Without hesitation, he leaped up from his seat and lunged forward. The sight of him, clad in those unmistakable striped prison garments, lent an air of absurdity to the whole situation.
"Don't fret, my dear, you shall be unharmed, for they shall not lay a finger upon you."
