Anastacia was pacing through the hallways as her heart raced in anticipation. All she wanted for now was to lay her gaze at her husband. How she missed him! She could not help but wonder if he felt the same way. She saw their room ahead and swallowed hard before she braced herself and entered.
When she stepped in, Julian was busy reading some war strategy books. He didn't seem to have noticed her enter. But she was sure the door had creaked loud enough for him to hear. But funny enough, he didn't look up to see who had gotten in. Was he assuming her or did he innocently not know her presence.
"Julian? I'm back." She said looking at him in anticipation. Julian lifted his head and looked at her slowly . His gaze travelled her length emotionlessly before he turned to look at the book in his hand again.
