Geb walked back and forth in deep thoughts. Nut had told him in the morning that they would be going back to their time that night. His plan was really falling apart. He had wanted to lure Nut to telling him where Nessy was, but instead he was the one being lured to something he never wanted in his life again 'Nut's love'. It was a love forbidden for him. He had fallen for it the first time, but he is now sure not to fall for it again.
He thought of a plan b, because it seemed as if plan A was failing. He scratched his head in frustration as he really didn't know what to and if his Nessy was ok. As he was still engulfed with his thoughts, he didn't notice when Nut walked in. He only felt her cold hand on his neck he fekt starled at first but then turned to meet her sky blue eyes.
"You seem to be in deep thoughts, what's the matter Geb? " she asked with love and care, evident in her voice.
"Nothing Nut, am just thinking of the possible ways l can punish that useless mortal Nessy Saadid for seducing me and luring me away from your love" he said as he gritted his teeth in anger.
Nut felt like she was going to burst with joy. She felt on top of the moon! She was sure going to bless Egypt with a soothing rain when they get back.
She has really won her back her Geb and this time, for eternity. He even wanted to punish the worthless mortal like she had desired. This was her Geb speaking, her earth god, her twin brother, her lover and they were inseparable for life.
"What if l say there is" she said with sly smile. "I can help you punish her in the most horrible way that she would never forget in her miserable mortal life". She said in the most wicked way.
Geb smiled within him, she really was easy to trap. Now he would be able to know where his Nessy was, before the purposed time for them to leave for their time comes.
"How love? " he asked cupping her face and laying a kiss on her forehead. "I want to know how you can help me punish the worthless mortal".
Nut felt felt heat creep into her skin as Geb traced her jaw line after planting a kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes and focused on his touches, but was jolted by his question.
"Well, l can take you to her" she said feeling proud of herself.
"Really?! " Geb asked with eager eyes.
"Yes, really, but you have to promise me one thing " she said with a serious tone.
"Anything love " Geb said with a sweet smile.
"Promise me that you won't kill her, you can hurt her as much as you want, but do not take her life" she replied.
Geb stared into her eyes. He was trying to read her thoughts, but found out that the ancient replica magic still covered them from him. Dammit* he cursed, he really needed to find out what she was thinking, so that he would be ten steps ahead.
Although Geb knows that Nut has fallen for his act, but he still sensed that he hid something from her something very important. He didn't want to push it, so he didn't read her mind. But the fact still remains that he needs to find out what it was that she kept from him.
"Why my love?" He asked faking an angered face. "Don't you want me to teach her lesson, she deserves to pay with her life, for making me hurt and despise you" he fume with a faked rage.
"No darling, its not that" Nut tried to reason with him. 'He was really hellbent on punishing the worthless mortal, she liked that. Her only reason for curtailing him was Aposis. He would deal with her if he ever finds out that Geb hurt Nessy because her and would destroy her if he realizes that he killed her. Though Nut believed that Geb could protect her from Aposis, but she didn't want to deprive him of her love by Geb killing her as he had helped her be with Geb again. So, killing her was way out of line.
"Then what is it " he said sadly, "don't you want me to prove how much I love you by dealing with that Nessy Saadid, she almost made me kill you have you forgotten? " he said as he rained on her deep ocean of thoughts. He was quite sure she was in deep thoughts, contemplating if she should spill to him or not. Seems like she's still cautious if she should tell him and this made Geb curious the more. His hunger to find out what she was hiding intensified.
He needed to think of way and fast. A way to to penetrate the coverage of the replica magic and know what she was thinking.
After few seconds, his head lit a bulb. 'Yes this is my only chance, l am sure it would work ' he thought with a determined soul. He now realizes that the only way he could penetrate the mind coverage without asking was by making her create a mind link with him.
Mind links are only possible in gods who are related or bond in marriage, and they are temporary connections, just for the moment.
Between gods or deities of Egypt, it only allows them speak telepathically for just few seconds, depending on the level of bond they have with each other.
Now, he was going to utilize that will. He and Nut were twins and had something between them before, so the mind link was sure to happen and in a very smooth way. All he had to do was figure out a way to make her mind link him, without picking any odd attitudes.
He looked at Nut for some seconds, she was still thinking of what to say to him as she wasn't ready to open up to him. He thought fast, then popped up with a plan.
"Aaaaaah! " he screamed, as he shrieked his face with pain.
"What is it?! " Nut asked with her face washed with worry. She couldn't understand what was happening to him as he still screamed in pain hurting and making her confused the more.
"Aaaaah" he now fell drastically to the floor, as he held his head hard, as if it was going to burst anytime soon.
"What is it Geb?! " Nut asked desperately " what's going on, Geb talk to me ". She pleaded, shaking him desperately just to make him respond, but Geb was hellbent on the act.
He made her worried the more, as he started rolling on the floor and twisting his tongue like he wanted to say something, but was being held by an unseen force not to.
Nut looked at him with desperate eyes, as he didn't want to loose him again, not now that he has finally agreed to go with her.
Geb smiled within him as he saw the desperation filled in her eyes, coupled up with worry and fear. He was now sure that he would mind link her sooner than later, but he couldn't wait. He increased the act as he started mumbling something useless and gesturing towards his head.
"What is it Geb, talk to me" she cried.
Geb exercised more patience as he waited for her to mind link him. He screamed again and this time in a more painful way than before. He tried to yell for the second time, nut was cut short by her mind link. Yes! She did mind link her...

Although Aposis had said to her that he would make himself known to Geb, as the one who helped him get Nut and maybe form an alliance with him. To be honest, she wasn't sure if Geb would heed to that judging from their rival in the past or maybe he would.
But the fact still remains that she didn't want to be the one to spill the beans, and she also didn't know what to say to Geb.
She was still on the thought before she jolted on the loud scream she heard.
"Aaaaaah! " he screamed, as he shrieked his face with pain.

He shrieked in pain the more and it pained her. "What is it Geb, talk to me?! " she cried, then realized that he couldn't talk but she could talk to him through the mind , she could find out what was happening to him through a mind link.' Yes! The mind link' she gasped in relief, she now has a way to talk to him and know what was wrong with him.
Without wasting time or giving it more thoughts, she mind linked him immediately...
