I summoned all my courage and climbed up the stairs. I successfully reached the senior floor, they were outside, most of them. Most of the senior girls gave me a stern look, I have no idea why they don't like me, they always feel intimidated by my presence but at least the nice ones didn't mind, the ones who disliked me were Senior Ebube's minions and I was not bothered.
I went straight ahead to the SS3A teacher, he wasn't always here but I think he's here for the new student. I greeted him and handed him the register, I was about to leave when he called out a name "Alexander Michael!" I've never heard that name before but then I saw the new boy stood and the teacher gestured for him to come over to his table.
"Alexander huh, okay" I thought with an inner smile. I was about to walk away again but Senior Temi shouted my name. " Hilda! I told you to come didn't I?".
I was done mumbling curses on him for keeping me here longer than I wanted. Turned towards his direction and gave a fake bright smile.
"I forgot, forgive me your highness" I said make a slight bow, walked towards him and stood beside his seat.
"How can I be of help sir?"
He chuckled "Why are you smiling so much? Its obvious that its fake"
Then I went back to my former mood
"Nothing, I didn't want to come here though"
"Oh, you don't like it here? If you don't, let me know so I'll stop telling you to come" he said with a cute puppy face.
"No,no,no its not that,its just that I feel a lot of hating spirits here"
He chuckled "Like who?"
I raised an eyebrow "Do you need to ask?"
Then he smirked "Never mind them cause if you do you're giving them more reason to keep taunting and hating on you cause you're concerned about their actions. Live your life like its made for you"
I smiled and said "obviously"
"What's going on here" Senior Rotimi asked as he approached us with two of his classmates.
"We're making out isn't it obvious?" Senior Temi said rolling his eyes. Senior Rotimi let out a short laugh
"Ha! You're doing that with my sunshine? Not cool Temi"
"If she's your sunshine, then she's my moonshine and forever mine so back off" Senior Temi said and snapped his finger like a girl.
"Baby Hilda you're cheating on me?" he asked then held my shoulders and faked a sob.
"Aw, he's crying, lets go" Senior Temi said, stood up and held my hand to drag me out of the class but Rotimi held my other hand then they started pulling me towards each other like they were playing tug of war. I thought we were just playing seconds ago but I felt something was wrong somewhere. Tired of looking back and forth at them,their grip on my hands were getting too tight and they were beginning to hurt me.
"Stop!!!" I was angry. Their grip on me loosened then I rushed out of the class, looked through their class' window. That was when I realised that the teacher was no longer in the class and the new boy has been watching the tug of war between the two guys over me. I didn't care right now, I just went to my class and sit, my hands on the table and faced down on it.
