Blanca's tears were escaping her eyes in torrents.
She could not believe she was seeing the arrogant and powerful Alwin like this.
"Haha…Are you crying?" Alwin laughed weakly as he felt some of Blanca's tears drop on his palm.
"I'm not!" Blanca gritted her teeth. She wanted to use a spell to just make Alwin pass out already.
[How can he still laugh at a time like this?! Did he really have to push himself this much?!]
Blanca looked like she might erupt any second and lose patience from frustration so Arabella spoke again.
"You already did more than enough. We are grateful for your efforts," Arabella said and all the rescued Prudencians followed.
"Thank you very much for your efforts, Your Eminence. We are forever grateful. Please rest now," the Prudencians said in unison.
"Is… that… so..?" Alwin asked weakly with the last of his strength and his voice trailed off in a whisper.
