Chester and Fatima bade their goodbyes formally.
Arabella learned from their thoughts that they were to ride their carriage until they reach the exit of the gates of Medeus.
Once they were out, they would have Marcus teleport them to the kingdom in Eliora bordering Zygos. They didn't want to traverse the roads on a foreign continent.
They didn't trust Eliora despite having the agreement to be allies.
Arabella understood though since there could be assassins waiting for them.
But Zygos had no particular enemy in Eliora except perhaps for Ferdinand after Chester provoked him.
Her father wasn't one to provoke fights they could not win either so Lobelius wouldn't dare do something.
Chester escorted Fatima to her carriage before walking to his own. They were riding separately as royals usually do.
Arabella froze when he glanced her way and smiled.
