Ferdinand caressed her cheek and gave her another peck. Kissing her did seem to calm him down. He wasn't as irked as earlier.
"I miss you so much after being in those nasty meetings. I missed you even more after that bastard spoke to me," Ferdinand embraced her and inhaled her hair.
"Did he say something else to you?" Arabella wrapped her arms around her husband's neck.
"No," Ferdinand looked away before answering her. He lied.
[I'll have to kill him with my own hands someday. How dare he have such lustful thoughts over my pure wife. And he even asked me if he could take her himself. I'm going to kill him!!!]
'I'm no longer pure though.'
Arabella cupped Ferdinand's face with both hands so he would look her in the eye. She was wide-eyed when she saw from Ferdinand's eyes.
Chester asked Ferdinand if he didn't like flowers. Chester said he loved them, so he could take the 'lily' (Arabella) instead if Ferdinand was just keeping her for display purposes.
