Although the carapace was hard, the creature wasn't able to do much when Aion used lightning magic on his spear and then thrust toward it with all his might. Thanks to the fight against Kala, Aion decided to test that. He had used something like that against Urgen, but he forgot to train it. That was becoming a normal occurence.
"I guess I need to practice more… the piercing power increased, but the energy passed through the weapon and shocked me," Aion thought. "This can be rather troublesome in the middle of a battle, but it is something unexpected since I haven't been training that much if compared to my early years."
"Do you want some tips on how to control your magic when it isn't in its purest form?" Sauros asked.
"Come to think of it, you guys make your weapons using a similar method, don't you?" Aion asked. "I will eventually find the right way, but if you want me to save time, I will be thankful."
