From the enemy's perspective, Aion was as slow as he could have been. He charged without making the old man feel threatened. Thanks to that, when Aion swung his shield at the enemy's head, he just moved away a bit to dodge it. Aion kept swinging his shield from one side to the other like it was the only thing he could do.
The old man got pissed… Aion was supposed to know that such a thing wouldn't work. The difference in speed was that high… The old man had no idea why, but Aion's only good point was his endurance… and one couldn't win just by being able to withstand being hit… Life wasn't that easy.
Eventually, the old man got pissed and then dodged to the side and when Aion finished the swing of his attack, he punched the shield with all his might, making it fly to the distance.
