Benjamin followed behind Fred and the others as they went to the front door, to meet the one claiming to be the owner, and as well as to welcome the big boss, who was also the company's general manager who was only below the shareholders in terms of power and status.
As they walked forward, the bald-man from earlier suddenly came up and walked beside Benjamin.
"So? How did it go?"
Benjamin did not hide anything and finally told him the whole situation as well as the fact that the four branch managers would now go and welcome the big boss.
"Oh there's actually something like that? Let me tag along and see for myself then," he said, clearly amused by the situation.
He had actually been worried sick about the dire situation the company was in a week ago. This was his only source of income and if this happened to be done as well, he knew that he wouldn't be able to search for a new job in a short period of time.
