Synopsis
A detective is on their most difficult case they ever had, while three teenagers have to explore an unknown place they've been stranded. This won't be a long story but I'll make it worth your while. This is a novel I don't intend to make a thousand chapters on and I don't even know if it will go over 100, I want it to be a short fun story you can finish and move on with your life.

Chapter 1 - Chapter |1| Snowy Case

*Beep, Beep, Beep*

The sound of an alarm clock trembling on the side of the nightstand. A dread slowly lifted as the body turned to the alarm clock.

"Click!"

A skinny 16-year-old boy about 6 '0 foot tall with black dreads and light dark skin stretched his arms and leaned his legs back one last time before getting out of bed.

"Perfect time for a hot bath with Epsom salt", A boy with a soothing and tired morning voice trying not to sound crazy talking to himself while grabbing some clothes and a towel to soak in a bath.

His wrist was hurting from smiting all day after school yesterday. He soaked in the bath for about an hour. He was about to walk out he heard a loud tap come from out of his house.

"CYRIL WAKE YOUR UP!!!", An angry voice of a teenager with a bad habit of eating too many dry biscuits said while forming another snow ball in his hands.

"Cache calm down he probably didn't even wake up yet", A girl's voice that sounded like she was better than everyone else but not trying to sound arrogant.

He started to rush out of the bathroom and threw on random clothes from his closet but he still made it work he thought.

"Damn it seems like Cache is not in a good mood today as always," he said while rolling his eyes back and pulling up his boot onto his foot

Cyril finally got his school bag and as the toast popped out he grabbed it with a paper towel and walked out of the house. As soon as he walked out he was greeted with a tackle into the snow by a 5 '6 muscular teenage boy putting his toast into the snow luckily wrapped in paper towels.

"Cache!, Cyril!, come on, one of you will break another bone if yall keep playing like that" A girl who barely looked over 5 '3 said while helping Cyril up from the snow.

"Thank you, Carmine," Cyril said while grabbing Carmine's hand and pulling her into the snow as well.

"Ahhh!" Carmine let a silent scream out while falling.

"Now I got snow all over my hair, what was that for?" Carmine said while looking irritated and away from Cyril.

"Come on, your over reacting let's get up and leave for school Cyril said while jumping up and pulling Carmine up.

"Cache wanna see something cool I made yesterday," Cyril said while lifting a long box the size where it would fit in the bookbag but crushed and smashed some folders and papers.

Cyril slowly lifted the lid off and there was a sharp dagger that looked like it could cut one of the snowflakes in the air with ease but was shiny enough to look like a delicacy that was not meant to be used so easily. Cache picked up the dagger and started swinging it around trying to cut the snow.

"Cache stop swinging that around before you hit someone", Carmine said in a worried and unpleasant voice.

"Carmine let him have a good time I would have never made it if I didn't want it to be used," Cyril said while picking up his toast and unwrapping it from the paper towel"

Then Cache while swinging the sword like he was in a movie accidentally cut Cyril's toast clean in half. Cyril slowly took the box from his book bag and then slammed it on Cache's head not hard enough to knock him out but to make him a little dizzy and drop the dagger on the ground.

"How about you cut that toast killer," Cyril said while grabbing the dagger and putting it in his book bag, and leaving the box behind at the front of his porch.

Cache started chasing after him at full speed. It wouldn't be long since Cache does boxing and kendo in his free time. Carmine tries to catch up but loses her breath quickly and takes a break on the sidewalk to catch her breath.

"Hey, guys wait up!" Carmine said trying to yell but not waking up anybody in the neighborhood,

After Cache caught Cyril they heard her and quickly rushed back to see if Carmine was alright.

"Carmine you shouldn't be running you didn't even pack your inhaler today," Cyril said in a worried and remorseful way but not trying to sound like a dad.

Cache and Cyril put their hands out so they could help Carmine up and they started to walk to school.

"Detective Trixie please come to the head chief office," A voice from a speaker said with a scratchy and staticky voice.

"Detective Trixie, you are the most known detective in this firm. We have a case of a triple homicide we just got news of this morning. All the information you need is in these documents", The chief slid a stack of 10-20 papers on the table to the detective.

"Yes, sir I'll get straight to it" Trixie took the documents off the table and walked back to her desk.

"Case Triplicity huh seems to be a triple homicide guess I'll get straight to it" she pushed her short blonde hair back and put on her maroon glasses her eyes glistened green and she lifted the first page out of the document folder."

She started reading the documents and looking at the pictures and almost threw up. She threw the donut she was eating in the trash can, put on her coat and hat, and left the office. She started driving to the crime scene and her stomach was growling but she couldn't eat anything snow flakes fell over the car as she drove away. After she arrived at the crime scene she began to check for new fingerprints and footprints at the amusement park which was supposed to be closed the day the crime happened.

"Detective Trixie when did you get here you should have notified me, here let me show you what my men and I found so far" The young man who looked to be in their early 20's with black wavy hair and dark skin with a clear gas mask and suit said, while walking towards an underground roller coaster door and opening it to let detective Trixie in.

"We told the family they would need a closed casket," The young man said while rubbing his gloves on the wall.

"Thank you officer uh did I get your name?" Trixie said confusedly.

"I don't think you have Creed Johnsen. It seems like we're gonna be partners in this case. I just recently was promoted to detective and it seems like we're gonna be partners for my first case. John put his hand out to Trixie to shake but to his surprise, she just stood there.

"Uhm Creed Johnsen you still are wearing gloves if you didn't notice" She looked at him strangely and then walked away.

Creed began to think about saying something but he didn't want to come off as petty so he kept the remark to himself and walked away.
