Chapter 246 - Servants' Chitchat

On a cold winter morning, Mary, who was clad in her maid uniform, was graciously walking along the corridor of the first floor of the Raevender manor. In her hands, she was carrying a large basket.

The basket was full of garments, chiefly articles from the master bedroom such as lingerie and bedsheets, to bring to the laundry room to be washed. Since she was the only person to enter the master bedroom, she was the only one who was tasked with cleaning the room as well as washing their clothes. 

On her way, she crossed paths with a pair of female servants who came from the other side of the corridor. Their long blonde and hazel hairs, respectively, were cloaked with moisture, and Mary could guess that they just finished grooming themselves.
