"Zi Xin, open up..." her soft voice echoed across the hallway as she gently knocked at the door.
"I'm okay mother, I just want to sleep..." he nasally responded and Meili knew something was wrong with him or must have happened.
"Zi Xin, tell them to open the door or I will knock it down this minute..." her voice turned serious and threatening as she banged louder.
The guard who was inside the bedroom opened the door for her and Meili walked in rushing, he could see Zi Xin laying on the bed with his eyes closed.
"What's the matter, my boy? Are you feeling bad anywhere? Do you want to see a doctor? " she sat down on the bed beside him caressing his hair while gazing at his face that seemed a little paler.
"I'm okay mother, I just want to sleep..." he softly hummed as tears ran down from the sides of his eyes going down to his ears.
