JEREMY'S P.O.V
I finally got home to New York. I was broken, totally. My parents had booked me a flight to England. And with some connections, I got to know where Kyla was.
She doesn't want to come back to me. She really hates me now.
I walked inside the house. My parents were watching a movie.
"J boy." Mum called. "What happened over there?" she asked. They actually came to watch me tomorrow for the big game. I'm so going to disappoint them. I just walked to my room upstairs and laid on the bed.
"J boy." I heard mum's voice. She sat on the bed beside me. "What did she say?" she asked.
"She's not coming back mum. She doesn't want to be with me anymore. I screwed up." I said and cried so hard.
"Calm down, you should really stop crying." she said.
"Mum I'm hurt." I said.
"I know but.. if she doesn't love you anymore, then she's not the one for you. You'll get over her soon enough, ok? I can't watch you hurt yourself like this." she said. I sat down and explained everything that happened in England to her and she sighed. "Ok J boy, let's make a deal. If she comes to the game tomorrow, then you can be together again, but if she doesn't, you have to promise me that you will forget about her and move on. If she can't see that you are really hurt and sorry for all your actions then you two can't be together. Am I understood?" she said and I sighed.

~~~Next Day~~~
We drove to the supposed venue for the game and alighted from the car.
"It's J." Some girls squealed and giggled.
"I see you're still quite a catch around here." Mum teased me.
"Muuum." I groaned and they both chuckled.
"We'll be watching you ok? Do your best." Dad said.
"I trust that he'll do excellently because he's my future basketball player." mum said arranging my hair.
"I'll go to the team now." I said and walked away. I walked to the hallway. They all greeted me. I sat down thinking about what Mum said last night.
Kyla please come to me, I can't afford to live without you or move on. I prayed silently.
Coach marched to us and talked to us. After that, he sent everyone out except me.
"Wilbert, this is it. It's the States championships. I really don't know what have been happening to you lately but this is really important to me, the school and your parents.. and even you. I need you to get your focus back before the game starts. You can't afford to lose. It's not just the state championships but your last game in highschool. You have to leave a good last impression for those that would take over while you are gone. You wouldn't want to leave a bad impression." he said. "Have I made myself clear?" he asked sternly.
"Yes coach." I managed to say and he walked away. I sighed and placed my head on my palms, with my elbows on my thighs. Why is he pressurising me? I feel like going home right now. I don't feel like playing right now.
"Kyla." I muttered, ruffling my hair. Tears flowed down freely from my eyes but I wiped it off. I stood up after tying my shoe laces. I stood up and walked out of the room. I met Brian and Mitch, waiting for me.
"Dude." They both called and shook hands with me.
"How did your trip go?" Brian asked.
"She's not coming back." I said and leaned on the wall trying hard not to cry.
"Really? Even after all your pleadings?" Brian asked.
"Yeah dude." I said.
"Shit." Mitch muttered. I stood in silence as they tried to make me calm.
"So.. you're saying she's not coming back?" Mitch asked, looking surprise.
"That's what I said." I said, getting irritated from repeating myself.
"Then.. then who's that?" He asked staring at someone. I turned to see Kyle, walking towards us. She wore my Jersey and a blue trouser, coupled with a red sneaker, matching the Jersey. It's really Kyle. Oh my God. Kyle? She's here? I stared at her with mouth agape as she walked to us.
"Will you quit staring at me and come give me a hug you jerk." she said and the guys laughed while I ran to her in tears. I embrace her tightly.
"You came." I cried. "You actually came for me." I said and refrained from her. I took her hands and I saw the wristwatch, that means she's still my girl. I happily raised her up and twirled around with her. She's mine again. I put her down and kissed her deeply. Brian and Mitch cleared their throats awkwardly but I ignored them.
"Um.. we'll leave you two alone." Mitch said and they both walked away.
KYLA'S P.O.V
He was kissing me crazily and I wished he would slow down, but the jerk didn't slow down. He held my waist close himself until he slowly pulled out of the kiss. We both gasped for breath.
"Jerk, I thought you wanted to bite off my lips." I said and he laughed.
"I've missed them so much.. I've missed you so much." he said in tears, staring at me.
"Enough of the tears, I'm here now." I said embracing him. I missed being in his hands. He buried his face on my shoulder, sobbing.
"Please don't leave me ever again." He muttered and I stroked his back slowly.
"I won't, babe." I said and wiped his tears.
"I love you, you're my better half." He said.
"I love you more." I said. "You've got a game, babe. You have to go now." I said and he sighed.
"Coach has been pressurising me non stop, and it's making me feel nervous." he said.
"Don't feel nervous, you can do it. You will win this, I believe in you just as always." I said, fondling his face. He nodded and smile.
"Whenever you believe in me, I do the impossible." he said and I laughed.
"You just have to calm down, ok? Do this with me.. inhale.." I said and we both inhaled. " Now exhale." I said and we both exhaled. " You've got this, babe." I said with a smile.
"Thanks babe." he said and kissed me. I quickly pulled out.
"We'll have the rest of the day to do that. You've got a game, let's go." I said and pulled along with me. We got to where the rest of the team was. He was gingered up and everyone was staring at him with creased brows.
"Wilbert are you ready?" Coach asked.
"Of course, I was born ready." he said and everyone cheered for him. They all went to the game.
