"I don't want to hear it. Go away" I said.
"Kyla please, I'm sorry. Kyla please.. I'm sorry. Kyla please.. I'm sorry.." he kept repeating the same thing and I couldn't stand it. I felt dizzy and opened my eyes.
It was a dream.
I wiped my tears and sat up. Daisy was sitting beside me.
"Good morning Daisy." I said.
"Guess who came to pick you up." she said and my eyes widened.
"Jeremy?" I asked.
"He's not even in England." She said.
"Oh.. yeah." I said.
"Well, it's prince Darren." she said.
"Darren? What's he doing here?" I asked.
"He's waiting for you, downstairs." she said and ran out of my room. What's a prince doing here?
I had a shower and wore a pink trouser and a white T-shirt. I took my phone and walked downstairs. He was playing games with the Daisy on her iPad in the living room. He stopped as he saw me.
"Your majesty, what good has this household done to have your presence in our humble abode?" I asked, faking a British accent. He laughed and stood up.
"Good morning." he said and we embraced each other. "You know, you don't need to address me as your majesty." he said with a smile.
"But you are a prince." I said.
"Yes, but you are my friend. So I'd like for you to address me as Darren." he said.
"Alright Darren." I said.
"I want to show you around the City, since you're new here." he said.
"Really? Is that how you show strangers around?" I asked.
"Not so.. But you are a beautiful stranger. I love giving beautiful strangers a tour round my city.. And my mum asked me to, So..." he said and I chuckled.
"You're funny." I said.
"Am I?" He asked with a smile and I nodded.
"Well Darren, I haven't had breakfast yet. If you must know, you woke me up." I said.
"No worries. I'll take you to the best restaurant in town." he said.
"Ok, let's go. Come on Daisy." I said and she smiled and stood up. We walked out of the house. Seems mum and dad went to work already.
We got to a fancy restaurant. The three of us sat on a table beside a window. Everyone kept bowing to Darren.
"Why don't you go around with guards? I mean, as a prince you need protection right?" I asked curiously and he smiled.
"Of course, I always go around with guards." He said. I looked around.
"I don't see them.. and you drove us here on your own. You don't even have a driver. What kind of a prince are you?" I asked and he chuckled. He placed his elbows on the table and leaned close to me.
"Of course I do need protection and also... I'm being accompanied by guards." he said in a whisper.
"Where are they?" I asked. The waiters came and served us, before leaving. We started eating.
"You can't see them because they are in disguise. I prefer it that way, Instead of having huge and hefty men at my tail all the time." he whispered.
"So you mean they are here right now?" I asked.
"Yeah, take a look at that man over there." he said.
"You mean the old man?" I asked.
"Yeah.. but he's not an old man. That's just his disguise. He's a 35 years old man and he's one of my body guards." he said and I nodded.
"So they are like five of them here?" I asked.
"Actually, ten. Mum likes being extra." He said and I chuckled. "It's a secret, ok?" he said and I nodded. Darren sat uprightly and we ate. "So tell me, why are you always moody?" he asked.
" You really wanna know?" I asked.
"Yes I do. We're friends now, right? And I already told you one of my secrets." he said and I sighed.
"Fair enough." I said and told him everything that transpired between Jeremy and I. "Soo.. that's why I decided to come to my family." I said sadly.
"Oh.. that's really sad.. but honestly, if I got what you said, your boyfriend..."
"Ex." I said.
"Ok, your ex wasn't responsible for what happened. I think that girl is."he said and I rolled my eyes. Why don't they always take my side? "She's his best friend and it's easy to trust one's best friend." he said.
"I don't get it. How can a girl and a guy be best friends?" I asked.
"It happens" he said.
"Oh, like you have a female best friend." I said sarcastically.
"As a matter of fact, I did, but she's now my girlfriend." he said.
"Oh.. really?" I asked with a slight smile.
"Yeah really." he said and my smile slowly changed into a sad frown. I leaned on the table and sighed.
"Maybe we weren't meant to be together." I said.
"Why do you say so?" I asked.
"Well.. just take a look at you and your girlfriend for example, you two were best friends and then you became a couple. Maybe Jeremy and Violet are made for each other and I was just getting in their way." I said sadly and my eyes were getting glassy.
"No you're not, trust me. You love him and he loves you too, that's all that matters." he said any I wiped my tears before it fell. "Come on Kyla, don't cry." he said and wiped my tears with his handkerchief.
"Thanks." I said.
"Kyla did Jeremy hurt you again?" Daisy asked sadly.
"Daisy I'm ok." I said. We went back to our food. We ate in silence.
After eating, we stood up to go. I noticed the man in disguise also stood up.

.
It was friday. I sat on the swing at the garden. It seems to be a peaceful place and I loved it. I was reading a novel.
"Kyla." Daisy came to me with her iPad.
"Yes, Daisy." I said.
"I dressed her up, isn't she pretty?" she asked and showed me her iPad. It was a princess dress up game.
"She looks pretty like you." I said and she blushed.
" I'm going to dress her up again." she said and skipped off. I went back to my book.
"Kyle." I heard someone call. "Kyle." He called again. Only one person calls me Kyle. I turned to see Jeremy. I think I'm just imagining things like I usually do. I went back to my book and surprisingly, he walked to me. "Hi Kyle." he said and I stared at him. I sighed.
"Get out of my head." I said and stood up to go but he held me. Oh my gosh, he is real.. but how? I turned to him. "Jeremy?" I asked in consternation.
