"What?"Mitch and I gasped in shock.
"I would never let that bitch come close to you. I was here first."she said.
"Vi, what are you talking about?"I asked.
"Isn't it obvious? Don't you all see the obvious truth? Or are you so blind to see it clearly."she says.
"What the hell are you talking about?"Mitch asked.
"I love J. I'm in love with him."she said.
"Wait.. What?"J muttered.
"Why are you all acting like you didn't know all these while?"Crystal asked. J laughed and walked to Violet.
"Listen Vi, I know I didn't do the right thing by going on a date and not telling my best friend. But that doesn't mean you have to joke with such a thing, ok? We are all.."
"You think it's a joke?"she asked furiously and J was startled. "I was always with you J. I did everything you wanted and asked of me. I never thought of the consequences as long as it was what you wanted. For what J? Have you ever thought about why I did those things? Have you?"she asked.
"Because, you are his friend."Mitch said, more like a question.
"Clearly."I said.
"That's what you think."she turned to J. "The reason I did all those things was because I loved you. I had always loved you, J."she said holding his hands.
"That's..not possible. You can't love me. We are best friends, remember?"J said and she got angry.
"Stop bringing up that friendship shit, ok? I see you as more than a friend."she yelled.
"But I don't. You are just a friend to me and nothing more."J said.
"Is it because of Kyla? What do you see in her? She just came out of nowhere to snatch you away from me." she said and it was getting J angry.
"I was never yours to begin with. I like Kyla, infact, let me make this clear to all of you. I don't just like her, but I love her and I'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend."J said with anger written on his face. I said it, he does love her.
"No, no way. I'm not gonna allow that. I am the only one for you and no one else."she said.
"Well, you're just gonna deal with the fact that I love Kyla and not you."he said and was walking upstairs but he came back to her. "One more thing, if you dare do anything to hurt her..I swear you'll live to regret it."he said and walked upstairs. I saw tears falling from Violet's eyes. She stared at him till he was out of sight. She stumped her feet on the ground angrily and walked out.
"Crystal, what the hell is wrong with your friend?"I asked.
"You're asking me? She's your friend too. I can't believe J could be this heartless."she said.
"How can you say he's heartless? Is it his fault that he loves someone else?"I asked.
"Yes it was his fault. If he wasn't so blind to see what Violet feels for him then he wouldn't have fallen in love with that worthless bitch."she said and I swayed my head and stood up. I looked at Mitch and then at her.
"I just hope you think the same for yourself."I said and walked upstairs.
"What the fuck dude?"Mitch yelled at me.
MITCHELL'S P.O.V
"Baby, what is he talking about?"crystal asked and I walked to her.
"Don't give it a thought. He's just angry that's all."I said and held her hands.
"Really? Is there something you're not telling me?"she asked, staring at me suspiciously.
"There's nothing. What could there be?"I asked with a smile and pulled her by the waist.
"Are you sure?"she asked.
"Yes, I am."I said and kissed her to stop her from asking more questions.
"Alright, I trust you, ok? I'm gonna go to Violet now."she said.
"Ok, see you later."I said and let go of her.
"Of course."she said and left. I heaved a sigh of relief. Even if I loose Ashley and Tessy, there's no way I'm loosing Crystal, not for anything. I love her so much.
JEREMY'S P.O.V
I sat on my bed, mulling over what just happened. I can't believe Violet has feelings for me. This is so messed up. How can she have feelings for me? I love her as my best friend but I won't spare her if she hurts Kyla. And this means that Kyla was right. Gosh, I can't believe this.
Brian walked into my room and sat on a sofa.
"What are we gonna do about this mess?" He asked and I sighed.
"Violet is supposed to be my friend, I don't know what came over her."I said
"Well, you give her so much attention, maybe she got used to it and thought you two could be a thing."he said.
"But I never developed such feelings for her." I said. Mitch walked in, staring angrily at Brian.
"What was that for? Are you trying to sell me out so soon?"he asked Brian. I wonder what transpired between the both of them.
"I would have done that if I wanted to. Thank your stars."Brian said.
"What's up with you two?"I asked.
"Well Brian here, was trying to sabotage me in front of Crystal."Mitch said.
"I didn't."Brian said.
"You almost did."Mitch argued.
"Ok, ok. Let's that slide please, I'm having a migraine."I said.
"Fine.. So what do you want to do about Violet and Kyla?"Mitch asked.
"Violet? I'm not doing what she wants ok? I don't love her. Kyla.. I'm gonna do whatever I can to make her mine."I said with a smile.
"You know Violet might do something to hurt Kyla."Brian said and Mitch scoffed.
"Might? Guys we're talking about Violet here, right? It's not that she 'might' do something but she 'will' do something. She does whatever she can to get whatever she wants. Need I remind you on what she had done in the past?"he asked and I nodded in agreement.
"Yes, you're right. And this dude here.."Brian said pointing at me. "..was always the one who helps her out whenever she lands in trouble."he said and they laughed. "I now understand why she loves you."he said amidst laughter.
"It's not funny guys."I said, trying not to laugh.
"And dude, she's always, all over you. Students even thinks that she's your girlfriend."Mitch said.
"And..and remember when she warned a girl in school to stay away from you?"Brian asked.
"I didn't mind that then, because I really didn't like those girls throwing themselves at me. And I thought she was doing that because she wanted to respect my decision, not knowing she was actually pushing them away so she'll be the only one for me."I said and realized that it was really for me.
She never dated anyone even if she had so many guys asking her out. I didn't realize that she loved me. That was why she never liked it when I talked with any girl. She was jealous. Now I get it.. But it's too late. I've got my heart on Kyla. I just hopes she doesn't do anything that would hurt Kyle, else, that would be the end of our long time friendship. But I'd really hate that.
