"I've warned you several times to stop eavesdropping. It doesn't befit a queen as you" King Edward cautioned with his eyebrows raised to it's peak.
"My eavesdropping attitude has a purpose. I am an eavesdropper with a purpose" Queen Helen replied with a smile on her face.
"Mother I earlier noticed your luggages out and packed. Aren't you traveling?" Eve asked as she twitched her fingers in fear.
Queen Helen walked close to where Eve was standing and looked into her eyes with hatred and disdain. She couldn't control herself she gave Eve a whooping slap on her face, causing her to bleed a little.
"What did she do to deserve that from you?" King Edward asked as she caught hold of Eve who had almost hit her head on the edge of the stairs to the throne.
"The hate you have for me I know grows like wild fire. But I will fulfill that prophecy and let that son of yours off the throne" Eve said as he licked her own blood.
Queen Helen eyes turned red, filled with hate. She became hungry when she saw the dripping blood on Eve's mouth.
"Control yourself Helen. You have many mortals to feed. Let her be" King Edward commanded in a loud voice.
"A day would come when I'll rip off your head after I've sucked you dry" Queen Helen said as she calmed her fangs down and walked away in vigor and stance.
", What's going on here?" Clinton said as he walked past his mother into the throne room.
"None of your business" Eve replied as she walked out of the throne room to Theo's chambers which was built beside the castle.
"My love is this place comfortable enough? If it's not you could stay with me" Eve said as she grabbed Theo's waist from his back.
"How can I be comfortable in a place with hostile hospitality?" Theo asked as he released himself from her grasp.
"Why do you say things that hurt me?"Eve said in a low tone.
"Well I speak words that hurt you. Tell me what I need to know or I'll start doing things that will hurt you" Theo said in a mannerless tone but scared of what Eve would do to him.
"Interesting words but remember you're in my territory and killing you would be so easy but I can't" Eve confessed as she held his hands.
"Why can't you kill me?" Theo asked in fear of the unknown.
"Because you're the prophecy we all have been waiting for. The people of the Blood Moon Kingdom have waited hundred years for you to come. Please sit" Eve answered as she beckoned him to seat on the couch.
She poured wine into town cups and said as she handed one over to Theo. She watched Theo's weird movements with his legs.
"You ought not to be scared. I can't drug you with a cup of wine" Eve said as she laughed mocking Theo's shying behavior.
"Then take a sip before I do" Theo replied as he watched her closely.
Eve took the whole cup of wine in one gulp, Theo was shocked. He said with a smile on his face.
"I'm satisfied now" Theo confessed as he took a sip from his cup.
"I love your degree of cautiousness." Eve replied as a compliment.
"I can't trust anyone so I've been careful with everyone at home. When am outside my home I'm extremely careful" Theo said wearing a confirmed look on his face.
Eve sat close to Theo and said
"What am about to tell you is already confirmed and written in a book hidden in the library."
"So Vampires also read books. Interesting" Theo replied as he sipped from his cup.
"You see. According to our customs and traditions. After every century a queen would bore her first blood vampire. It must be a girl or else the Kingdom would wait another century.
The first blood vampire of the queen would have to find the man with a pure soul who would not die after he's already bitten.
That man would be her first kill. That is the first person I bite.
I was scared when I bit you after we kissed. So I placed you on your horse and ran as fast as I could. I thought I had already failed my people, not until I met you again.
You're the chosen one to be king over us and to stop the killings of humans."
"Very interesting story. But hey the truth is that I've got my own kingdom to handle. I am the first son of my father and the heir apparent to the Iron throne. I can't lose all that just to fulfill some weird prophecy" Theo replied as he gulped down a full cup of wine.
"How about I figure out ways to get the key to the library and give the book to you". Eve said trying to convince Theo.
"Well I don't need it." Theo replied blatantly.
"You're shy and timid to handle this aren't you?" Eve asked in a disrespectful tone.
"Even If I'm shy and timid I would still sit upon the Iron throne and no one can stop me" Theo answered as he beat his chest with his hand.
"Let's not forget you have a twin brother and a wicked uncle. What makes you think that throne is still in your hands?" Eve asked figuring out ways to make Theo see things from her perspective.
"That's all fallacies. The Iron throne is mine and I can't be the prophecy you and your people want me to be" Theo replied as he dropped his cup, anger boiling up in his head.
"I can't force you but remember you're the cause of your downfall" Eve said trying to control her outburst of words.
"I think we've had enough words for one night. Please leave" Theo said as he stood up in anger.
"You're chasing me out?" Eve asked surprised to see the anger roiling through Theo's eyes.
"I need space. Shut the door on your way out" Theo replied as he turned his back on Eve.
"I'm only giving him an eye opener against the future"Eve muttered to herself as she closed the door.
