Chapter 1 - Chapter One

Excited about the college tour she packed her backpack, putting all the documents into place. North Seattle College was absolutely beautiful, writing down the address, 9600 College Way N. Scribbling it down she had to get on The King County Metro on time to make it to the tour as scheduled. Grabbing the route and the cash she needed to get on the bus, she headed out the door making sure the door was locked. She ran down the sidewalk, making it ten minutes before the next pick up.

Her excitement bloomed, phew she thought, first step a success. Hearing the bus pull up, she looked up at the lights stating VIA College Way. Yup this was the bus, it take her straight way to the College campus. Though she would have to be patient, paying her fare she took a seat placing her Bluetooth headphones on kicking on tunes on youtube. She thought about the route, Aurora Ave N up to N 97th St to College Way N. If not that's okay she knew where to walk after doing everything that needed to get done to enroll. Arriving a few minutes early she jumped off heading to the college.

She would have to check out all the dorms later, or checking out housing nearby. As the day progressed, she had been shown around to all the rooms, even the top floor. The place had been nice different than the other colleges, people were friendly. Though had a lot to do, many where very busy with studies, class locations, and times. To her, location was very important, it would save a lot of time and help insure she won't be late. Not a good thing say to your new instructor when they ask,

"Why are you late for your first class?" The only response you can give them,

"I got lost, I couldn't find the room? Or would you rather say, my apologies I misplaced my map."

Either way it would still be very embarrassing, not a good way to start your first lecture. Taking about increased embarrassment, humiliation, and getting that sense of, DUH I don't know which would be even more of an increase to your stress levels, how about that stress ball! That thought just remindered her, she needed to put one in her backpack and fresh pens to take notes including the recorder just in case she missed something.
