After going home, Arc uses Gate to teleport to the dungeon.
It was as usual as always. He was about to dive into the 25th boss room. Then he saw someone waiting for them right in front of the entrance of the boss room.
"It's been a while, Prince Arc."
Hearing that, Arc narrowed his eyes. People who do know his real name don't come here for good reason, most of the people inside the dungeon call him Adolf, but when someone called his real name that means he came here for a fight.
"What are you doing here Carey O'Brien?"
Miranda asked him.
"Do you know him?"
Arc asked her.
"He is the very person who wanted to kill you on that night master. He is from Shadow Origin."
Miranda replied to him.
'So, this punk was the one who wanted to assassinate me.'
Arc thought.
"Assassin doesn't come attack like this. It's strange for an assassin to come up front."
Arc told him.
"Well, if it was assassination inside the castle it was one thing, however, in the dungeon it's a different matter. So, hey, Ellis bitch... how are your days going with whoring with your master?"
Carey asked Miranda.
"It's going excellent."
Without getting offended she replied immediately. Arc noticed that her nerve is strong and she can keep her emotions intact if someone bad-mouthing her.
"Sigh, don't call her like that in front of me. Only I can call her that at bedtime."
Arc added. Hearing that Miranda looked at him with a side glance while her cheeks got red.
She was acting as if they were really in an affair.
"Damn you!"
Saying that that guy came swinging his sword toward them, but it exactly pointing at Miranda.
"Raise Your Head, Wabisuke."
The blade he was holding loses its curve and straightens, and where a normal katana would end, Wabisuke's blade makes two 90-degree angles, forming three sides of a square, reminiscent of a hook, and has its cutting edge on the inside of the angles. This was the Shikai form of Isuru Kira's sword Wabisuke.
Arc stopped the sword of Carey with the hook. That guy was surprised the how fast reflect Arc has. Arc then touch two times more when Carey was still in a daze then he step back from there. He actually didn't think that Arc could be this strong. He then looked at his sword, he felt something amiss with his sword, but he was having a hard time finding it.
When he was thinking that, Arc grab Miranda's waist and pull her toward him.
"You don't dare to put your dirty hand on my Mira darling."
Arc told him.
Seeing that, his body started to shake, especially he saw that Miranda wasn't resisting him.
'As I thought, he has hot for Miranda.'
Carey again dashed toward them and started to swing his sword randomly, with Arc's Sharingan and Emperor Eye, it was pretty easy for him to defend those random swings.
Getting an opening Arc delivers a kick after hardening his leg. That made him blown up from there. He gets that opening because of Wabisuke's ability.
"Damn it! Weren't you a disabled person just a few days ago, how did you recover your power?"
Carey asked him. He thought I have this kind of power all along. Arc didn't reply to him. Carey stood up and wanted to retreat his fallen sword. Then he suddenly got surprised that it was too hard to pull.
Naturally, the swords of the assassin are lightweight for swift movement. It was at most one and a half kg in weight. However, now it felt like it was more than 100 kilograms. A person in this world can lift 100 kg with pretty ease. Because their body strength is enhanced by various means. However, they never use short swords as heavy as this. Just as he was about to pull Arc came in front of him with great speed.
'Crap he got me off guard.'
Just when he thought he is gone, he felt that Arc didn't kill her but, touched him with the sword several times. Arc then retreats further from him.
Taking the opportunity Carey wanted to retreat back into a safe distance. However, to his surprise he couldn't able to do that, it was as if his body got heavy more than ten times. The gravity wasn't allowing him to move, he instantly drops to his knees, he just couldn't understand what happened to him, even moving his hand was getting harder for him.
"Did you use some kind of poison on me?"
Carey asked him. Except that he wasn't able to think of a better reason for not being able to move. Arc then thought about doing a certain villain move, which is explaining your ability to others.
"This is the ability of my sword. The more you get touched by it, double your weight increases. Like your sword is 2 kg in weight, when I touched that, it will get 4 kg, if I touched it again it will get 8 kg, and gradually increased twice amount per hit."
Arc explained.
