Tyler smirked as he walked on the pavement, going to the club to have some fun. The sky was dark as the moon took over the sun's shift, casting it's dim silver light onto the earth.
He wore a nice custom made black suit and pants. Oozing with the scent of wealth and luxury.
To be honest, Tyler didn't know why he didn't use a car. Maybe he felt like he could use some exercise.
But that wasn't the reason. He knew it.
It was just a hunch that he shouldn't use his car, a nagging feeling that couldn't escape unless satisfied.
Tyler shook his head. There was no use thinking about it now. He had already done it.
He suddenly stopped walking, looking at the zebra cross, glancing at the incoming truck, waiting for it to pass.
Then for a moment, time seemed to move slow for Tyler. Then he felt a strong force pushing him outward—onto the road.
And what lied ahead? A speeding truck ready to send him to the coffin in a single second of impact.
Time slowed down. Everything slowed down for Tyler. His life flashed in his mind.
Come to think of it, he could understand why somebody pushed him onto the road.
He had enemies. He also felt the strong palms pushing him. And the sound of loud gasps and shouts.
Whose to say after doing all those vile deeds, that someone was definitely not going after his head?
Tyler just sighed in his heart. He had accepted his fate. After all, there was nothing he could do.
Nothing he could do…
…
Tyler was startled as he heard the voices. His eyes darted around in the still world, looking at everything moving in an extremely still manner.
Like someone had slowed down a video to 0.1x speed.
Tyler had heard seven different voices previously. But now, it was like they all merged into one.
He then thought about what entity could do this? Slow down time and talk this way.
And they way the being was addressing him—child?
All that made Tyler to believe—
'Are you, God?' he asked in his mind, knowing this being could read his mind.
The voice said.
'Then, it's really a god.' Despite knowing that, Tyler was still calm. As tranquil as a lake.
'Suffer?'
Tyler's mind was blank, hearing the voices in his head.
'Nothing.' Tyler said. 'Let me sleep for eternity of whatever. I don't have anything to live for.'
Vastly different from this land of peace. This is just a drop of water compared to the world I will send you to.
Hahaha!>
Tyler's eyes widened in disbelief. A new world? Something out of a fantasy? Well, he couldn't say he was surprised, after all, he was talking to a god.
Tyler did not expect this, wasn't he the sinner. A person this god detested. But the god wanted him to suffer.
The god knew that Tyler had been spoon-fed his entire life. Only getting his treats and wanted items from his parents.
Tyler never suffered in life. Thus, he had developed a bad attitude. Cruel, stingy and evil—like a devil.
That's why the god wanted Tyler to experience real pain. To actually work hard. To put real effort into something.
The god wanted Tyler to overcome challenges. Not to improve him, but he knew how much Tyler detested them.
Whoosh!
Time went back to normal. Tyler's eyes flickered with realization. 'This means..'
Bam! Spluch!
A body was sent flying into the air, performing multiple rolls before coming back to the ground with a crash, splattering blood all over the ground.
The body laid down onto the cold pavement. Multiple people showed up, forming a crowd around the almost dead young man.
No one tried to help anyway—Tyler scoffed in his mind. Maybe due to the shock, his pain had not registered.
But Tyler didn't mind.
His breathing slowed down rapidly before coming to a total halt.
On that day, Tyler Rae had died due to a truck accident.
