A dark figure with red eyes stared fiercely at you. He slowly approached you.
"Yuki…"
What?! How does he know my name?
I tried to look closely at that dark figure, wondering what he looked like. A black hair, red eyes, and a handsome face…. The sound of bats flying and an old mansion….
Suddenly, my vision became blurry and my brain felt painful as if it was hit by a strong force, preventing me from recalling those hidden memories.

I woke up and felt a cold shiver run down my spine. Lately, I've been having the same weird dreams again. Only this time, I saw the face of that mysterious man.
Why do I keep having those dreams? And that strange man…
"Yuki, it's time to wake up" a woman's voice was heard.
"Okay mom, give me 10 more minutes." I replied back.
I quickly went to the bathroom and started dressing up. The mirror revealed a teenager with black hair and brown eyes like caramel; however, the black circle underneath his eyes ruined his handsome face.
I guess those nightmares were too much. I couldn't even sleep well these days.
After walking down the stairs, two people were sitting at the dining table. A middle aged man in a casual outfit was reading a newspaper while a gentle housewife was preparing breakfast.
As I took a bite of the sandwich, I noticed the atmosphere became weird as if something bad was about to happen.
"Yuki, we're going to transfer you to another high school since something just came up. We already spoke to your homeroom teacher and the principal about this. If you have something to say to your friends, now is your chance to do so." the father said with a calm expression.
"What?! Why all of a sudden? I'm doing well at my current school and I alright have friends there. What's the point in transferring to a different school?"
"Actually, we received an acceptance letter from the Vamhuman Academy yesterday. Last night, your grandmother called and asked you to visit her tomorrow to discuss this matter. As a mother, I don't want you to go there, but if it's for your safety then I have no excuses to say no." the mother said with a worried expression.
Why would that school keep me safe? Are my parents hiding something from me?
I closed the door and left the house while thinking about what my parents were saying earlier. I looked at the acceptance letter in my hand and recalled what my mother said.
'Here is the invitation which you'll need when you enter the Vamhuman academy. Also, don't forget to see your grandmother before you go to your new school.'
