The duke paid his son not even the briefest of glances. He was aware of the ongoing practice of dueling and was certain that Denis would emerge victorious in the first year of competition. He was sure, Denis Alfonso would not want to bring shame on the Alfonso name after his father had given him the best of the best as gifts.
"Welcome, Duke Bere." Principal exchanged handshakes with Duke Bere.
"Harun Al Rashid, it's been a while. Oh, Mr. Principal, do you mind if I use your given name?"
"I really like it. it's just that over the previous few decades I've been accustomed to being addressed as The Principal."
They chuckled together, and that masks their animosity as a fellow alumnus of the Losbonian Academy.
The principal watched several of Duke Bere's guards. "The situation appears to be improving. Does race not bother you very much these days?"
"Let us end this meaningless chatter. Can you show me where that Telezia scoundrel is?"
