Chapter 016 Style

''Where's the medicine? Are you done, right?!''

Halvir asked in a slightly curt tone. While carrying Anindira, he asked for the medicine that Hans had prepared.

Hans was annoyed because Halvir suddenly stopped their exciting conversation. With annoyance, he handed over the medicine package and explained the rules for taking it curtly.

Halvir knew that Hans was annoyed, but he didn't care. He didn't want the woman who had been recognized as his to be close to another man. Although there was a feeling of fear in Halvir's heart, because of that he suddenly stopped the conversation.

Halvir felt unsure about the *Imprint on Anindira because she came from another world. He felt disturbed by that.

Anindira and Halvir said goodbye, then got out of Hans' house, then walked towards Halvir's house.

''Kak Halvir, there must be a river near here?'' Anindira asked, ''I want to take a shower.''

Anindira's appearance was messy. Her hair was tangled and stubby, her body was sticky with very dry skin. Her body was dirty here and there, that was obvious.

Anindira always applied eucalyptus leaves and sometimes orange peels to ward off mosquitoes when night fell. This indirectly kept Anindira's skin healthy. In addition to being good for repelling mosquitoes, eucalyptus helps maintain skin moisture, and prevents parasitic lice and dandruff on the scalp. Orange peels help clean pores and provide vitamin C intake. Anindira also often used other ingredients from the remains of the fruit she had eaten.

When Anindira arrived, it was the beginning of summer. During the journey in the forest, there was no rain at all. The available water was limited only for drinking because the path used during the journey was far from the river.

''There is,'' Halvir answered briefly.

''Yeay...'' Anindira exclaimed, raising her hand, ''Take me there!''

''Okay, we're going to the river,'' Hans replied, smiling at Anindira's childish behavior, which was very similar to Zia's.

''Yeay, I can take a bath!'' exclaimed Anindira, who was happy ignoring Halvir, who continued to smile amusedly at seeing her behavior.

''Are you that happy?!'' exclaimed Halvir asked while smiling and pinching Anindira's nose.

''Um,'' nodded Anindira very enthusiastically, ''Of course!''

Anindira's face was beaming with enthusiasm.

''But we'll go home first,'' said Halvir.

''Huh?!'' exclaimed Anindira in surprise, ''Why?'' asked Anindira disappointedly.

''We have to get a change of clothes first. You haven't changed your clothes for three months. Don't worry, it won't take much time, my house is not far from the river,'' said Halvir, calming Anindira, who showed a disappointed face.

''Really?!'' exclaimed Anindira again, shrieking, then a smile immediately returned to her face, ''Okay,'' said Anindira with her strange hum.

Some time later they arrived at their destination. Just like the others, Halvir's house was at a height, on a tree branch. Halvir climbed it while carrying Anindira, as agile as usual. They climbed up and entered the house, which was already covered in dust.

''Kak Halvir, how long have you not been home?'' asked Anindira. She saw quite thick dust here and there.

''Five months.''

''Uwah!!... That was a long time! Do you often leave the house?''

''Not really,'' answered Halvir, ''I had just come out of the FORBIDDEN FOREST when I saw you. Usually I only go there for about three months. It only takes one month to get to FORBIDDEN FOREST from here,'' explained Halvir.

''Ha?!... Then why did it take three months with me?'' asked Anindira in surprise.

''I have to slow down, your body won't be able to keep up with me,'' explained Halvir.

''Ah! Yes, yeah...'' said Anindira while patting her forehead, ''Hehehe...'' Anindira's strange laughter appeared again.

Halvir gave Anindira a golden *Amber when she slept every few days. That's why her stamina was maintained even though the place was extreme. In total, during the trip, Halvir spent more than thirty *Ambers to maintain Anindira's physical endurance.

''Akh!'' exclaimed Anindira, then screamed, ''Sorry, I've really bothered and troubled you...'' said Anindira with a regretful face.

''I didn't say it to make you gloomy, did I disappoint you?'' asked Halvir in response to Anindira's regret.

''Eh! No,'' exclaimed Anindira firmly, ''How could that be! You were very kind to me...''

''Was the trip we took together enjoyable?'' asked Halvir then.

''Of course! Very happy... A very amazing experience...''

Anindira gave a cheerful expression with a broad smile when answering it.

''That's enough. As long as you are happy, I will be very happy. Anindira, I am happy to meet you. Our journey is a beautiful journey for me. I am happy to be able to bring you with me...'' Halvir replied while patting her head gently.

''This...'' Halvir said while handing her a piece of clothing that was taken out of a chest near Anindira, ''I found it, it will be too big for you, but we can use a belt so you can wear it. Hold on a little longer, I will go to the Kingdom to find a tailor and make you comfortable clothes.''

''Clothes are made of animal skin, a round collar, and short sleeves. It turns out there are tops here. I thought there were only bottoms that were like skirts, like the ones they wear...'' Anindira muttered, looking at the clothes in her hands.

Long bottoms with some accessories and ornaments on the waist. From what was seen by the guards at the gate earlier, also what Hans wore. They developed their style very creatively, looking like a famous designer. Some were short, some were long, some were wrapped, some were tied, and the clothes were combined with various beautiful accessories and ornaments that looked unique but still beautiful and stylish.

''Yes, yeah... I didn't think about it before. But, Kak Halvir, Kak Hans, even though it was only a glance... the men were on guard earlier too. They are all... pleasing to the eye,'' Anindira muttered in her heart.

Anindira thought of handsome young men with tall and dashing physical appearances. It was normal for girls her age.

Because it was summer, men in this world generally did not wear tops. That was because the body temperature of the Beast Man was quite high when compared to normal humans in Anindira's world. 37-39 degrees Celsius was their normal body temperature.

The clothes they wore were made of thick animal skin that did not absorb sweat, which, of course, in the summer, would make them uncomfortable.

''Kak Halvir, thank you,'' there were no other words that Anindira could say, she could not refuse because she really needed them, ''Sorry for bothering you.''

''I told you not to think about it!'' Halvir shouted to Anindira, ''Come on, I'll take you to the river! We'll clean ourselves. I can't leave you alone to go hunting. It'll be dark soon. I'll just look for fish in the river for us to eat, do you mind?'' Halvir asked while carrying Anindira down.

''Mind?!... Of course not,'' Anindira answered immediately.

*****

Anindira immediately entered the water with her clothes on because, in a public place, it was impossible for her to take off her clothes. But, it was different with Halvir. He took off all his clothes and immediately entered the water just like that.

During their three-month journey, every night and morning, Halvir would definitely be naked in front of Anindira. Now, seeing Halvir without wearing anything was no longer surprising, it had become Anindira's daily routine.
