After a lingering moment of silence, Ginny cleared her throat, breaking the quiet. "I think it's time for me to go," she announced with a slight hiccup, steadying herself as best she could. "I still have a Persephone to find, after all."

She turned toward the door, but before she could take another step, Persephone reached out, her fingers gently closing around Ginny's wrist. It was a soft touch, hesitant yet intentional. Ginny froze, glancing back with wide, questioning eyes.

Persephone's heart gave a strange twist, and in that moment, a quiet, unexpected thought bubbled to the surface. Perhaps now was the time to reveal the truth—to tell Ginny that she was, in fact, Persephone, and that the girl she'd been looking for was right in front of her. The truth seemed so obvious, yet Ginny had been blissfully unaware all evening.
