Ginny hates confrontation, especially if she's the one being confronted. It makes her think that she's the one at fault. But in this particular confrontation, she's not denying that she was the one at fault. She acknowledged it, and she was ready to face the consequences of her actions.

"Um…" Ginny's voice trailed off, her mind racing as she searched for an explanation. But the truth was, she had no excuse for her actions. She had meddled where she didn't belong, and now she was paying the price. As Persephone continued to stare at her, waiting for a response, Ginny felt a wave of guilt wash over her. She knew that she had hurt Persephone deeply, and she couldn't bear to see the pain reflected in her eyes.

"I... I didn't mean to…" Ginny finally stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. But even as the words left her lips, she knew that they were hollow and insincere.
