After dashing two steps away, Zhuu Shu seemed to remember something. He halted his steps and turned to look at Beiting Huang, his eyes gradually filling with complex emotions. There was excitement, gratitude, and an impulse to repay with his very life—all these feelings made it suddenly difficult for him to lift his feet and walk away.
His knees buckled slightly as he attempted to kneel deeply before Beiting Huang. A gentle force supported him and made it impossible for him to move.
"There's no need to thank me. Your life still belongs to me as I will have need of your services in the future. A man's knees are planted with gold, and there are no cowards by my side," Beiting Huang said indifferently.
"Yes!" Zhuu Shu gave Beiting Huang the salute of a subordinate and then ran out of the cave.
