Chapter 14; Is That All Your Problem?
"Hello DPO, I hope there isn't any great bad news that warrants you calling me multiple times at this hour of the day?" Master John Baron asked sound very casual.
But in fact, only he knew how anxious he was since he was very fire that there wasn't any function or appointment between him and the DPO of Police at the point.
"Oh no no not at all sir, it is my fault for calling you early in the morning, people like you must really not be disturbed this early"
"No need to stutter DPO, just go straight to the point." Master John Baron replied impatiently at the man.
"Yes sir, there's a young man, around the age of twenty five or so right here in custody, apparently he was brought from the Baron HQ for claiming that he was the real Young Master Baron but of cause I am sure he's not the one we all know that the young Master Baron is currently in his office.
After a while, I thought he was going to give up after series of questions where he was asked, but he still adamant to have relation with the Baron family.
Since this involves such a reputable and highly regarded Very Important Person as you, my men didn't dare file any report about it, and the young man seemed to be in a hurry to leave so we have to just disturb you"
As soon as the DPO finished talking, he didn't hear anything from Master John Baron's side, he started feeling bad bad and regretted calling the high profile Master Baron in the first place.
He checked the digital clock sitting at the right corner of his polished mahogany table covered with a lot of paper files.
The dot red writings on it said ten o'clock. It was really too early to disturb the rich people. Even he was not qualified to call him like that.
"Master Baron, I realize that I shouldn't have disturbed you this early on such a trivial matter, I'll just discuss it with Young Master Baron" The DPO stood at an attention right from his office as if Master Baron John was seeing him from his home.
He was ready to hang the phone having not gotten any answer from the man when he heard an authoritative masculine voice from the other side of the phone.
"Where was he taken from?" He asked referring to the young man they were talking about.
It could only be either James or Johnathan but from many indications, it was probably Johnathan since James was on his honeymoon break and shouldn't be in the office.
Master Baron couldn't imagine what mischievous Johnathan had committed now.
He was yet to recover from the marriage that James forced himself into and yet he still had to deal with his own son now?
The DPO motioned the office in front of him with hand gestures to ask him where he was taken from.
He pointed towards the door, then turned his fingers supine and mouthed where.
"At the office" the office mouthed him which he immediately reported to Master John Baron.
"He was taken from the Baron Head Quarters, he was probably reported by the real Young Master Baron"
"Probably? It means you are not sure DPO, is that how incompetent you are at your work that you call me with half information?"
"No sir, I am sorry, he was definitely reported by the real Young Master Baron, if it is true that he is not your relative, we will deal with him accordingly, it all depends on what you have to say."
John was not in a hurry to give out any information that he wasn't ready for yet.
"Give the man the phone" he said wanting to make sure first what his son was thinking before going against his advice.
The DPO and the officers were actually shocked that the whole Master Baron would want to speak with the young boy personally, it seemed that maybe they do have a relation.
He sent someone to bring Johnathan to his office.
"Yes sir, he is here, I'll hand him the phone"
"Okay, hand him the phone and give us some privacy, you can leave the place for five minutes"
"But sir…"
The DPO hesitated for a minutes, he was not thrilled with the idea of handing over his office to someone who was arrested and would probably be an impersonator.
John sensed his unwillingness from the line and understood his worries.
"Don't worry, if he does anything, it'll be on me".
It was a great consolation that Baron was willing to take the blame should in case the young lad does anything funny.
At that moment, he finally agreed that the young man had something to do with Master Baron, just what exactly is something he didn't know yet.
He gladly gave Jonathan his phone and asked the other officer to go out with him, then he closed the door and looked at his writs watch to check the time.
Johnathan collected the phone and sat on the master's seat, right where the DPO usually sits, the seat was way softer than the one he was offered before.
He pulled the phone to his eyes but didn't say anything.
When John heard the faint breathing sound on the phone, he knew exactly that it was Jonathan.
He then pulled his phone from his ear and typed a few words before he finally spoke.
But of cause, Johnathan beat him to it again.
"Old man, why aren't you saying anything else? Are you surprised? Are you disappointed? Well so am I. I'm tired of waiting for you to think of what to do about James's first, that office is mine and you know it dad! I have never rebelled against you, but this time, you pushed me to the wall, one week is too long, I want to be the only Baron."
"I'd that the reason why you made a fuss for your brother in the company?"
