Chapter 17 - Chaos in the city H

ATTENTION

This chapter has strong scenes, and I do not recommend that you read it if you do not have a stomach of steel. I will mark with ~~~~~ the more serious parts. Good reading everyone!

In the evening that same day, an ordinary man was returning home after a day of work. He was incredibly tired, and all he wanted was to get home, see his wife and children, and rest watching TV. As soon as he arrived in front of his house, he breathed a sigh of relief and entered the house.

He hugged his wife who was in the kitchen preparing dinner, and gave his children a hug and a kiss on the forehead. He sat down in his favorite armchair and focused his attention on the news. On the news, the reporter was talking about a wave of brutal murders that happened today. More than twenty bodies were found, some were mutilated, some were beaten, and some were shown to have been burned alive!

Seeing that the news was too brutal, the father asked his children to leave the room. He continued watching the news. The authorities thought that this was some kind of settling of scores between rival gangs, others thought that some kind of crazy serial killer was on the loose, but they all agreed on one thing, the streets of H-town were no longer safe.

A few minutes after this news, the mayor made a statement, asking the citizens of H-town to avoid being on the streets after dark, and stated that policing was beefed up.

While still watching the news, he saw his wife setting the table for dinner. Looking at his wife who was still as beautiful as the day they were married, he sighed in gratitude that she had chosen him once again.

"You see, dear? It's because of this news that I disagree with our daughter working late! Look, look how brutally all these people were murdered! I can't even imagine what I would do if that happened to our daughter." He said nodding his head in regret and regret for the grieving families.

"Think no more about it my love, nothing will happen to our child. She can take care of herself, and if she wants to continue in college, she will have to work." His wife said in a helpless tone.

Both parents blamed themselves for not being able to give their children a better life. They were numbers, and because of this, many doors were closed to them, and the one who suffered most was their eldest daughter. They had no money to pay for her college. After all, either they paid for college, or they put food on the table and a roof over their heads. The lives of numbers were like this, they had no luxury, and if they wanted to, they would have to sacrifice something.

While his wife was still putting dinner on the table, the doorbell rang. Seeing that his wife was still busy, the husband did not ask her to answer the door, but answered it himself. Although he worked all day at a construction site, he knew that his wife also had a lot of work to do to keep the house organized while raising their children.

Opening the door, he was pleasantly surprised. A beautiful girl in her early adult life was standing in the doorway. She was wearing a green dress, matching the color of her big eyes. The dress was a little too short for her husband, but he took it in consideration. She had skin the color of night, having pulled her mother. Her straight black hair went down to her waist. Her curvaceous body was a delight to the eyes of the men who passed by the door, delighting in her large breasts and thick thighs. This girl was his daughter, a source of pride for the man.

"My baby! I was so worried about you! Didn't you see the news about the serial killings?! Come, come in quickly!" The man said after giving his daughter a warm hug.

"I'm fine dad. Your beard stings. And we have a guest today, please behave yourself." The girl laughed sweetly at her father's clumsy manner.

Only now did the man notice there was another person with his daughter. It was a black haired man, 5.9 feet (1.80 m) tall, with strong arms and well-marked facial features. The man felt strange looking into the lifeless eyes of the black haired man. Even though he smiled, that smile did not seem to reach his eyes. He was wearing a wine suit, and in his hands were two black leather gloves. It was only then that the man noticed that the guest was using a cane, a cane that the handle was shaped like a gun.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Jones. Your daughter told me that she became who she is today thanks to you and your wife." The man with the cane, Elliot, said.

"My little daughter said that...haha, I'm even embarrassed." The man said while laughing silly and scratching the back of his head.

His daughter, Alice, the girl Charles groped in the bar, was incredibly nervous. She had spent the entire day with Elliot and his men, and although she had not seen it with her own eyes, she vividly remembers the cries of despair from all the people they had killed today. Elliot mentioned wanting to take a break for dinner, and in her despair and distress, Alice mentioned that her mother cooked very well. Elliot seemed to find this amusing, and said that he would love to try the food prepared by Alice's mother.

Alice instantly regretted her words, but now there was nothing else to do. She just hoped that her family would not anger this homicidal madman. If the worst case scenario happened, she would die happy in the place of her siblings and parents. She would not let Elliot lay a finger on her family!

While Alice was in a sea of despair internally, her body moved on its own and she, Elliot and her father had already gone inside. Alice woke up and realized that only Elliot came, his subordinates were nowhere to be seen. This gave Alice a certain feeling of security, it would be easier to deal with just Elliot than with his subordinates and Elliot together. But this hope soon faded, when Alice remembered the horrible way Charles died.

She still seemed to be able to hear the hoarse voice full of fear and pain of Charles pleading for his life, and Elliot standing over him, punching him with an expressionless face and dead eyes. She knew that Elliot kept hitting Charles even after Charles stopped breathing. Alice knew she would not sleep well tonight.

As soon as everyone was seated at the table, Alice's mother arrived with the last course. She was a little surprised by the visit, but just smiled and sat down. At a smaller table were three children, who looked like smaller and younger versions of their parents.

"Honey, you should tell me we would have a visitor. I would have dressed better for the occasion." She said with a playful smile.

"Oh, honey, that's the..." it was only then that he noticed that he didn't know the guest's name.

"How rude of me. I showed up uninvited and didn't introduce myself. My name is Elliot Amom, your daughter's boyfriend." Elliot said after standing up and giving a small greeting.

Everyone was silent. The parents were too shocked that someone with a last name was in their house, even the children knew the gravity of the matter and were silent. Alice was paralyzed, by fear and apprehension. She was praying to all the gods and mystical beings that her family would not do anything foolish that would frighten this murderer. Elliot noticing the family's strange reaction said with a slight smile on his face.

"I apologize once again. I added my last name out of force of habit. Don't worry, I'm not one of those crazy people who think an extra name makes me better than others. We are all humans at the end of the day, seeking a better life for our families, haha!" Elliot said.

'You are something much worse than fucking elitists! You spent the whole day killing people you didn't even know!' Alice was going crazy in her thoughts.

Alice's parents gave tense smiles and tried not to make mistakes in front of their guest. They were curious to know how their daughter met this young man, but they were afraid to ask. They tried to change the subject, and soon they began to calm down and their conversations became light.

"AAARGGH"

Amidst the children's laughter and the adults' conversations, they heard a roar of pain. Everyone fell silent at the same instant, and Alice's mother took the children in her hands, intending to protect them from any imminent danger. Alice felt a shiver run down her spine. She had completely forgotten about this subject.

She remarked that her neighbor, when she was a child, was very kind to her, giving Alice toys, candy, and books. Only years later did Alice come to understand the reason for this. The neighbor liked to caress Alice. Her legs, her arms, her back, and even her private areas. The man was a pedophile, and Alice was afraid of what her parents would do if she told them.

"Was that noise at the neighbor's?" Elliot asked.

Alice had to say, this man was a real actor. Alice's father remembered that there was someone surnamed in his house at the moment, and he was apprehensive about what might happen. This was one of the poorest and most dangerous areas in H-town, if someone named died here, everyone in the area would suffer as a result, and his entire family might even be held responsible!

"I'll take a look." Jones said.

"I'll go with you." Elliot said as he stood up.

"Please, Mr. Amom, don't bother with this. I would be a terrible host. Please wait here." Jones said and Alice's mother also insisted that he stay.

Jones took a bat, similar to a baseball bat, and went out to the neighbor's house. Jones rang the doorbell and waited anxiously. The door was opened and he looked inside. He saw everything was in order, but the person who opened the door was not the nice gentleman who was his neighbor, but a shabby-looking man

"How can I help you, sir?" The man asked.

"You are not my neighbor. Where is Mister Mark?" Jones asked as he tightened his grip on the baton.

"Mister Mark is lying down, but if you want, I can call him." The man said with a slight scowl.

Jones wanted to say to call him, it was then that he heard Mark's voice from inside the house:

"Nephew, who's at the door? If it's nothing serious, come in and lock up. The nights are getting colder and colder."

"If you have nothing else to say, I'll apologize." The man said as he closed the door.

"Ah, I heard a noise, I thought something might have happened to Mr. Mark." Jones said before the man closed the door.

"I was moving furniture around and hurt my arm." The man said showing a bruise on his arm.

Jones felt dumb seeing this. He apologized and went back to his house. If Jones was a person who paid attention to details, he would notice a few things. Mr. Mark's voice was shaky, showing clear signs of fear and desperation. The bruise on the man's arm could not be from moving some furniture, as it had a distinctive shape. If Jones looked at the man more closely, he would see blood splatter on the man's undershirt, he would also see the bruises on the man's wrists. Jones would also see that the paintings on the walls of Mark's house were out of position.

There is no way to know if it was a blessing that Jones was an unperceptive person or not. If he were more attentive, he might have saved a life. But at what cost?

**************

Later that same evening.

Elliot was looking out the second-floor window at the street. The whole room was dark. They were remembering the pleasant evening they had had tonight. This was a truly warlike family. Even with all the prejudices and financial problems, they still took comfort and found strength in each other.

Jones, the father, working hard every day so that his family never lacks daily food. Alice's mother, working to keep the house in order and teaching her children how to live. And Alice, who battled every day to go to college, even if the price was her own body.

When Elliot left the house, he didn't threaten Alice. He didn't say he would come back if she told him about what they did today. Alice was a smart woman, she knew that if she said a word about the murders that happened today, everyone would die, not just Alice.

"And it would be a shame to kill such a beautiful family..." Elliot muttered.

A man emerged from the shadows of that dark room.

"Are you talking to me, sir?" Jimmy asked.

"Yes. Let's go, Jimmy. You can burn the car we used today. After that, get your car and take me to Margot's family home." Elliot was not dumb enough to ask Jimmy to use his car in a series of murders.

They used the bartender's car from the bar where Charles died. As he walked to leave the room, Elliot heard a dinging sound in his head.

"Truly, a productive day." Elliot left the room with a smile on his face.

~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Behind him, a body lay on the floor. It was that of a gentleman in his sixties, but little could be recognized. His face was completely swollen, all his teeth were knocked out with pliers, and on his chest was made the word 'guilty' with a knife. Next to the body, soaked in the blood of the body, were pictures that Mark had, pictures of children, all children from the neighborhood. The penis from the body was cut off and was placed in the mouth of the deceased. You can see from these details that his death was not peaceful.
