A few years later...
They had figured out his powers and they had turned out be ice magic,super speed and immortality,which not all werewolves-even alphas- had.
Their relationship had improved and while he still annoyed her out of her mind they had become good friends. He had started being able too protect and lead his pack so now he was the king of the western forest now. But he still visited a lot (most of the time uninvited) but this time she had actually called him to her tree house.
"So,you invited me so it must be serious" He said once he got there. She rolled her eyes and continued.
"I'm afraid I've found something disturbing,I found one of the unicorns in my forest dead this morning,unicorns are immortal and no animal would dare hunt one because your pretty much cursed once you kill one. Plus,the wound that killed it was not one from an animal,rather a from a thunder stick"She explained. Lycaon looked at her funny then said,
"Thunder stick?Do you a gun?" he asked. She scratched the back of her head.
"Sorry,I was born in the 17th century so I'm not really up to date with humanity,the last time I went into civilization was when my sister died,which was around 1754" Briar said ,embarrassed.
"That's okay.Anyway, if it was a human then their most likely in the near by town and they don't really come into these woods often.But if one has,wouldn't you have noticed them?"He pointed out.
"They probably did it while I was asleep.The horn was missing,their probably planning to sell it and then expose all the mythical creatures here,that scum!"She said through gritted teeth at the end.
"We could go into town and pretend to be humans to find them,small town won't take terribly long,and a unicorn horn is super shiny so it shouldn't take too long" Lycaon suggested.
"Oh good for you,you used your brain for once" She remarked.
"Hey!I'm not that stupid!"He protested.
"Oh I beg to differ" She said. Lycaon huffed.
"In all seriousness,I think it's a good idea. Although I may need your help to be able to fit into human society since it's been so long"She said. Lycaon nodded,he was easy to forgive,which was good since they teased each other so much.
"Alright Briar,we'll set out soon,but I need to get you some modern clothes.Yours are kind of outdated"He said. She nodded. He zoomed off too the western forest to get some old clothes he had. A few seconds later he got them and he gave her the clothes and told her how to put them on.
It was weird,the material felt odd against her skin and it had a weird design. She came out and it felt odd to walk in.
"I feel stupid"Briar remarked. Lycaon patted her on the back.
"You'll get used to it.Besides it's only for a day" He pointed out. She sighed.This was not going to be a fun mission at all.
